Star Plus is back with another new serial named Chashni, produced and directed by Sandip Sikcand.

Sandeep Sikcand is a very celebrated name in the Hindi TV industry who has been famed for making serials like Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, Kahan Hum Kahan Tum, Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, etc.

Sai Ketan Rao and Amandeep Sidhu are roped in for the male lead and female lead for this serial. 

The main lead actor of Chasni, Sai Ketan Rao, was last seen in Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, and Three Half Bottles.

Chashini Serial Story/Plot

The story of the serial Chashni will revolve around two sisters, Chandini & Roshini. 

Chandni is the eldest one who works as a professional in fire control and is cool and calm.

Meanwhile, Roshni is the opposite of cool and calm; she is a little fiery. 

However, one fine day things and relations change when Roshni's lover gets stuck in a fire and she blames it all on Chandni. 

Roshni will accuse Chandni of purposefully not being able to save her love while Chandini states that she cannot cheat her profession.

Years later, both sisters meet again. 

Chandni gets married to her husband (played by Sai Ketan Rao) who brings her to his home where Chandini realizes that her mother-in-law is none other than Roshni, who is now Chandini's husband's stepmother.

What will happen when the same blood relations collide with each other, birthing a new relationship between them?

The TRP ratings of Chashni serial are expected to do well as Sandeep Sicand's new creation will bring a unique blend of a story where sisters become Saas (mother-in-law) and Bahu (daughter-in-law) of each other.

The star cast of Chashni involves Sai Ketan Rao who is an extremely famous actor, known for his handsome looks.

Amandeep Sidhu, the female cast of this serial is very famous whose fans will be very excited to see her embrace this new role. 

The makers had high hope for this serial TRPs because of the star-studded cast and unique story set.

However, due to the 11 PM time slot given, Chashni serial has failed to impress the audience with the story and thus getting the lowest TRPs on the Star Plus channel.
