Indian Idol season 13 today's episode will have the legendary musician AR Rehman and Rajkumar Santoshi as chief guests.

The latest promo for this weekend's Indian Idol 13 (28 January 2023) shows Aditya welcoming AR Rahman and Rajkumar Santoshi on the stage with a massive round of applause.

AR Rehman says that he has come to frighten the contestants so that he can take them to Chennai and record a few songs with them.

Another promo for this weekend's Indian Idol season 13 (28-01-2023) shows Rishi Singh singing the song "Dheere Dheere Se, Hole Hole Se" and impressing the judges.

AR Rahman compliments Rishi for his vocals and expresses his wish to work with him in the future.

Indian Idol 13 28th January 2023 Written Update

Today's episode starts with host Aditya Narayan welcoming the legendary singer/composer AR Rahman and producer Rajkumar Santoshi as an AR Rahman song will be sung after every 100 seconds.

Judge Vishal starts off the episode with "Humma Humma" as the timer clicks in marking 100 seconds.

The first performance is by Chirag Kotwal who uses his voice tone-changing skills and gives an amazing performance of the song 'Chinni Chinni Aasa' impressing the judges.

Sreejiti Das comes afterward and stuns the judges along with the audience with her performance of the song 'Kabhi Neem Neem'.

Afterward, Sreejiti and Rishi collab on the song 'Oh Beliya' upon the judges' request and get a standing ovation from them.

Sonakshi Kar sings the famous 'Chupke Se' and mesmerizes the judges and the audience with her melodic voice.

Rishi performs the song 'Kaise Mujhe' and makes the audience and judges relive the deepness of the song and the meaning it holds.

Debashmita Roy is a little nervous at first but gives an immaculate performance after taking blessings from the sir.

Shivam sings the song 'O Saathi Re' and makes the judges swoon over his thin but powerful voice and his control over his voice.

Afterward, AR Rahman also praises the instrumentalist Naveen and tells him that he brings life into the songs with his skills.

Bidipta Chakraborty sings the complex 'Kehna Hi Kya' song while all the judges nod in approval at her skills and control over her voice.

Tanisha Santoshi joins the set and greets the Indian Idol family as she promotes her debut film 'Gandhi Godse'.

Navdeep Wadali sings the song 'Maula Maula' making the audience dance to his tune along with A.R. Rahman.

Lastly, all the singer contestants of Indian Idol Season 13 sing a mashup of AR Rahman's song as a tribute to him.
