Indian Idol season 13 today's episode will celebrate the success of the famous Dharma Productions.

The latest promo for this weekend's Indian Idol 13 (29 January 2023) shows Aditya welcoming Karan Johar as the special guest joining them for the day.

Karan Johar compliments Aditya for his performance as a host and says that Aditya is one of the finest hosts he has seen.

Another promo for this weekend's Indian Idol season 13 (29-01-2023) shows Shivam Singh and Bidipta Chakraborty doing a skit reenacting Shahrukh and Kajol's lines in Kuch Kuch Hota Hain.

Shivam gets compliments from Karan Johar for his performance of "Koi Mil Gaya".

Indian Idol 13 29th January 2023 Written Update

Today's episode starts with Karan Johar entering the stage of Indian Idol as today’s episode is ‘Dharma Special’.

Aditya welcomes Karan wholeheartedly and gives him a grand introduction.

Aditya then asks Karan Johar to take a seat as Senjuti Das is ascending the stage to give the first performance of the day.

Senjuti starts singing ‘Kalank' Title track, taking over everyone with her charismatic and intoxicating voice.

The judges are overly impressed by her outstanding performance while Karan Johar believes that Senjuti has already made her parents proud.

Chirag Kotwal is called upon the stage next by Aditya and he sings ‘Ladki Badi Anjani’ making the crowd nostalgic for the golden era of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.

Karan Johar is mesmerized by Chirag’s mind-blowing performance and so are the judges.

Aditya calls Shivam Singh next onto the stage who sings ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ energizing the entire crowd with the gravitas of his voice.

Karan Johar and the judges join Shivam on the stage while he is singing and start dancing.

The judges and Karan Johan love Shivam’s performance as it set an amazing mood.

Next comes Rishi Singh onto the stage and sings ‘Kesariya’ bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.

Karan Johar feels that Rishi has done to the song while the Judges are as usual hypnotized by Rishi’s melodious voice.

Aditya calls Bidipta Chakraborty next who sings the song ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in her soothing melodious voice.

The audience hums along with her as they are mesmerized by her iconic performance.

Karan Johar says that Bidipta’s voice is versatile and all-rounder and the judges agree with her.

Next comes Deboshmita Roy who sings ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam’ in her charming old-schooled way.

Everyone enjoys her outstanding performance and the judges feel that she is well deserved for her position in Indian Idol. 

Bidipta and Rishi give a tribute performance for Karan Johan and sing the iconic song ‘Teri Meri Dosti Pyar Me Badal Gai’ in a duet.

This non-competitive performance brings tears to Karan Johar’s eyes as the song was from his father’s film.

Sonakshi Kar comes onto the stage next and sings the song ‘Tumhi Dekho Naa’ which again brings tears into everyone’s eyes.

Karan says that Sonakshi beautified the song even more with her graceful voice.

Navdeep Wadali comes onto the stage to give the last performance of the day, he sings the famous song ‘ Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aai’ making the audience emotional.

Karan Johan says that Navdeep has owned the spirit of the song and has totally given a blast performance.
