Colors TV's musical show Junooniyat is set to return to television with its second season.

Junooniyat started airing on 13th February 2023 and recently went off air on 3rd November 2023 airing more than 180 episodes.

The show had to go off air due to low TRP ratings with the new show Doree starting in the 9 pm time slot.

Starring Ankit Gupta, Neha Rana, and Gautam Singh as the main trio, the series started with an interesting story but soon turned out to be one of those obsessive love triangle plots.

Junooniyat 2 on Colors TV Story/Plot

Junooniyat's story revolves around a girl named Ilahi who gets a scholarship to learn music at one of the top music universities where she meets Jahan and Jordan.

The story set out as a tale of friendship, action, and college romance with music as a constant but soon lost its direction with family drama.

Jordan becomes the villain who is obsessed with Ilahi while she and Jahan fall in love with each other.

After a great deal of interruptions and danger, Jahan and Ilahi get married with Jordan dying after which the couple have a baby together.

However, in the last episode, Ilahi and Jahan are shocked to get a call from Jordan who reminds them that the game has not ended.

The second season might continue the story of Ilahi, Jahan, and Jordan or they can start a new story of the child of Jahan and Ilahi.

It will be interesting to see how the makers plan out the plot of the second season and whether they decide to introduce a brand-new cast.

Junooniyat failed to garner high TRP while airing despite getting a nice beginning at the start.
