Sony TV’s gem, the famous gaming reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 14 has started accepting registrations from potential contestants through online registrations.

KBC Season 2022 is the Indian version of the American show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and has a huge fan following in India due to the host Amitabh Bacchan.

How to register for Season 14 of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati 2022)?

The date of registration starts on 9 April 2022 at 9.00 pm through the Sony Liv app or SMS.

The contestant will be asked one question daily on the sony liv app and this process will continue till 10 days after registration.

To register for KBC, the contestants are required to download the sony liv app and have to answer the daily questions. 

To register for KBC, eligible participants must be 18 years or above. The participant must be a citizen of India. No educational background is required to take part in Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The ones who will clear the first round will receive an IVR call for the conformations of details.  `

Here is the step by step method for registering for KBC 14:

1. To apply to this show, you must first download the SonyLIV app.
2. After downloading the app, you have to search for KBC in the search bar.
3. All information about KBC will be available after searching.
4. You have to click on the option to register it.
5. On the next page, you have to submit proof of your nationality.
6. Also, proof has to be given of your age.
7. After filling in the details, you have to click on submit.
8. Your registration will be completed as soon as you click on submit.
9. After your registration, you will be given a call and information about the show.
10. Once the participant clears the first round an IVR call will be received for the next round and you will be asked a few questions.
11. For the third round, the participant will be invited for the video audition round, 20 Gk questions are asked in this round.
12. Level 4 will be a Personal interview round where the contestant will fill out a 14-page form.
13. At last, the selected contestant is invited for the fastest finger first round.

Kaun Banega Crorepati Format/Concept:

After the contestant gets selected for the show, they compete in the Fastest Finger First round to get on the hot seat.

KBC has a 16 question format, where the first 10 questions are timed (45 seconds for the first five questions and 60 seconds for the following five questions).

There are lifelines that the participant can use to proceed ahead in the show.

Audience Poll, Flip the Question and Ask the Expert are some of the lifelines given to the contestant.

The 50:50 lifeline of KBC replaced Double Dip and the Three Wise Men lifeline is replaced by the Plus One (from the United States version). Phone-a-Friend (by Jio) introduced video calls.

In case the contestant reaches the 16th question (Jio Jackpot Question), then the contestant cannot use the remaining lifelines.
