Koffee With Karan 8 26th October 2023 Written Update, Episode 1

Today's Koffee with Karan (KWK Season 8) starts with Karan Johar welcoming the audience in his unique way and announcing that because of the love the show received they are back so soon. 

Karan also promises that with time the show, fraternity and breed are more evolved. 

Afterwards, Karan invites the “It” couple of the industry, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, to grace the couch. 

The gorgeous couple arrives on the stage exchanging hugs and air kisses with Karan.

Afterwards, Ranveer complains about sitting too far from Deepika. 

Despite Karan’s request to abide by the seating arrangement, he shifts almost in her lap because they are meeting after two weeks. 

Ranveer Tells His Love Tale

Karan compliments the couple for still looking gorgeous couple and asks them about the first time they decided to get involved. 

Ranveer tells Karan that the first time he laid eyes solely on her was at the reading of Ram Leela Which was a like moment from a movie. 

Ranveer also mentions many suitors that still bother him while Deepika tells Karan that they keep coming back to each other like soulmates. 

Both Deepika and Ranveer recall their courtship period during the time of Ramleela and they used to be engrossed in each other. 

The beautiful smile dances on Deepika’s lips while Ranveer describes the day when he proposed to her in the Maldives which was perfect in every way. 

Later, Ranveer's description of the time when they finally announced their engagement to Deepika’s parents is so hilarious that it brings tears to Karan’s eyes but for Ranveer, it was the worst moment of his life. 

However, things are different now and he is the favourite person in the world for his mother-in-law. 

Afterwards, Karan thanked the couple for sharing some of the beautiful moments from their wedding which was the most private event at the time. 

Ranveer is larger than life in all those scenes and his in-laws are thankful to him for bringing life to their dull life. 

Karan Recalls Deepika Sad

Meanwhile, Deepika is the picture of ethereal beauty and calming presence that makes them a perfect match. 

Karan talks about a helicopter ride with Deepika where she cried and cried the whole time because she was suffering from depression and was really anxious. 

He tells her that he did not understand that at the time but realised the intensity when he himself went through it. 

Deepika tells him that it is the only reason why she came out and spoke about it so she can save people who suffer from Mental illness and need help.

She also praises Ranveer who created a safe space for her without any question, comment or judgement and is the strongest pillar to lean on to date. 

Afterwards, Karan introduces them to a very interesting game called “Impoeter Challenge” in which they have to behave in a certain way to not know who the imposter is and Karan also participates. 

However, no one was able to guess the correct imposter but they enjoyed it thoroughly. 

After that comes the rapid-fire round, and Ranveer is made to sit on the opposite side. 

Ranveer's answers tickle Karan and the audience while they stick true as well. 

Deepika's answers ring true but cannot top Ranveer’s answers. 

Indeed A Bollywood Royalty

However, the audience loved Deepika's honesty while Ranveer is shocked at the results. 

Deepika kisses Ranveer on his forehead to balm the defeat while Ranveer tells Karan that he always wants Deepika to smile and that he will do anything to keep it there. 

As the last note, Deepika shares with Karan how she and Ranveer spend their weekend which are the best part of their weeks.

Karan blesses them and wishes them all the happiness and asks them to sign the mug after having a cuddling hug.

Karan asks Ranveer when he proposed to Deepika and Ranveer states that he proposed to her in 2015 before anyone else so he had an advance booking before anybody else came.

The recent promo for Koffee with Karan 8 (26-10-2023) shows Karan complimenting the couple for looking so hot.

However, Ranveer Singh playfully calls him naughty which earns a smirk from Karan who says he will see Ranveer later.
