Koffee With Karan 8 2nd November 2023 Written Update, Episode 2

Karan welcomes the audience by telling them that Koffee With Karan has been around for almost two decades and that he would love to invite their two legacy guest who, despite being in the industry for many years, has never really aged.

Afterwards, he invites Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol to the show who are present in theatres as well as OTT platform.

Karan gives Sunny Deol a standing ovation for having a massive success of Gadar-2 after twenty-two years of Gadar Part One.

Sunny Deol shares with him the out-of-the-world experience that he experienced when he realised that his movie had become a huge victory.

He also shares the idiom ‘Drunk on Success’ moment with his family members when he came home the first day after the movie's success.

Afterwards, Karan turns his attention to Bobby Deol and reminds him of the effect he had on the girls when he first appeared after the movie Barsaat and after his journey through the years, he was able to create the same magical moments after he reinvented himself.

The conversation moved to Dharmendra's role in Rocky and Rani and how magical his performance was in that movie.

They all shared a laugh about Dharmendra’s Kissing scene in the movie and their reaction that he got away with everything.

Bobby's IN And Out Of Self Pity

After a while, Bobby Deol shares his time of self-pity when he had given up when one of his son’s comments snapped him out of those feelings and he started to work on himself, changing into the person he is now today.

He states that after he came out of self-pity mode, he started approaching people on his own, telling them that he wanted to work with them.

He also targets Karan for not giving him a chance when he approached him and that many rejections came his way but instead of becoming weak, he became stronger.

On being asked about trolling on the internet, Bobby tells him that there are so many assumptions about him that were entirely wrong but he decides to ignore them as his work will speak for himself and that is what is happening now.

During their talk about about nepotism, Sunny Deol tells Karan that the media has been constantly playing with images of people by raising them to make money and then pulling them down to make even more money and the cycle goes on and on.

Sunny Likes To Live In Reality

Sunny also criticises the paid media and tells Karan that he prefers to be in reality instead of coming out as fake.

However, Bobby thinks that they have to go with the current trends because this is how people operate these days.

Afterwards, Karan jokes about Sunny’s comment “Our’s are Organic Collections” in his interviews and if he means to say others are inflating numbers.

Sunny laughs out loud and then comes up with his punch line that the ticket prices were not raised for the particular movie so it is more like “Asli Blockbuster”.

Bobby also talks about their large-hearted approach to Salman and how he always stood by them and was supportive of them in hard and good times.

After that warm recollection, Karan presented to them all the wonderful comments, Dharmendra and their children shared on screen.

One of the children shares about Sunny’s fetish for teddy bears while Dharmendra tells about both the son competing for his love and complaining that he loves another more.

Their wonderful and warm feelings hug both the legacy stars like a warm blanket on a wintry night and make them emotional.

Bobby Lands the Quiz And Sunny Wins Rapid Fire

After that Karan introduces them to a quiz that will be about Dharamendra's Filmography in which both the sons made their father proud by learning about all his films.
Finally, Bobby wins the quiz by answering the tie-breaker question.

Then, comes the rapid-fire round where Sunny’s answers are sensible yet candid while Bobby Deol is more light but honest.

The results from the audience are not unpredictable as Sunny wins the round with little margin as both brothers performed well.

Karan wishes them both a very successful career going forward and thanks them for coming on the show.
