Zee TV's brand new serial Mithai premiered on 4th April 2022 under the production house Arvind Babbal Production.

It is a remake of the Indian Bengali romantic comedy-drama with the same title “Mithai” which was a huge hit in Bengal.

Debattama Saha and Aashish Bhardwaj are the protagonists in the Hindi version of Mithai.

In the opening week of the Mithai serial, the serial got 0.4 TRP points which is not appreciable but the show is expected to pick up in the coming weeks.

The plotline of the story is around a girl named Mithai who is cheerful and spreads joy to people with her sweets. She dreams of becoming a famous businesswoman by selling her delicious sweets. Sid is a cold guy who loathes sweets.

Debattama has a huge fan following after the Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani serial. She is successfully fulfilling her acting skills as Mithai and grabbing the attention of viewers with her charms and cuteness.

On the other hand, Aashish is enacting the role of a cold guy named Siddharth. His acting skills are remarkably enticing to his fans to watch the serial.

Considering the past history of the serial in other languages, it is just a matter of time before the serial Mithai will be seen topping the TRP charts with impressive ratings.

The serial Mithai will be competing with Udaariyaan on Colors TV, and Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Se on Star Plus for the 7:00 PM timeslot.
