Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki on Colors TV is the best example of a serial with the empowerment of Transgenders.

Sakthi story follows the life of a Transgender Saumya whose secret is kept hidden from society for a long time.

Shakti serial now follows the life of another Transgender named Heer who was protected by her own family from the truth.

Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is produced by Rashmi Sharma and she calls the plot ‘hard-hitting’ and ‘unique’.

Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki Story:

The initial story of Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki focuses on the life of Saumya, who is transgender and her secret is kept in dark by her mother and father.

Her father is a cruel man and hates Saumya while he adores his other daughter, Surbhi.

The male lead, Harman accidentally kidnaps Saumya instead of Surbhi while society accuses them of sleeping together.

Saumya and Harman are forced to get married while Saumya’s mother Nimmi fears the worst.

Saumya learns after her marriage that she is transgender and she reveals the same to Harman. Harman gets furious but decides to save her from the clutches of the transgender community.

Harman falls in love with Saumya and fights with his parents to stay with her.

There is a generation gap shown in the story post which Heer, the daughter of Harman and Mahi. Heer is neglected by her own mother upon learning her transgender truth.

However, Saumya adores Heer and becomes her Gulabo. Saumya is forced to leave Heer as she makes a deal with Preeto and Harak.

Preeto and Harak save Heer from the truth and society but in the end, she finds out when she falls in love with Virat.

Recently, the plot has taken a new turn with Heer deciding to get operated on to become a girl.

Female Cast Lead Actress Jigyasa Singh as Heer Singh:

Jigyasa Singh a beautiful actress who plays the role of Heer Singh in the serial. She is the daughter of Harman and Mahi and got love from her adoptive mother, Saumya.

Heer is a sweet and caring girl who respected Preeto and Harak’s decision of keeping her away from boys.

Heer never realized she was transgender until she fell in love with Virat and Preeto and Harak were forced to bring the reality out.

Male Cast Lead Actor Simba Nagpal as Virat Singh:

The role of Virat is played by Simba Nagpal. Virat’s character has a strong personality and he has the ability to fight for the right.

Heer and Virat are initially enemies but later Virat falls in love with Heer. He is passionate about his love and is ready to fight the world to get Heer.

At last, he also accepts the fact that Heer is transgender and marries her against the will of his own family.

Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki brings a bold story that empowers the minority community of transgenders.

Saumya is seen as a transgender and her story is full of twists and turns.

Later, the plot focuses on the life of another transgender Heer, who accepts the reality of her life gracefully and faces the world without fear.

There is just one setback in the story that sometimes the plot diverts its attention from the main concept of the serial.

However, the performance of lead actors including Rubina Dilaik, Jigyasa Singh, Vivian Dsena, and Simba Nagpal is outstanding.

Overall the serial, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki (शक्ति - अस्तित्व के एहसास की) impresses the audience with a variety of emotions.
