Super Singer 8: Top 20 contestants join Judge's team in team selection round

The Super Singer season 8 has again kick-started its journey by finalizing the top 20 contestants.

The Super Singer is the most famous Tamil singing talent hunt show which aired on 7 seasons so far.

Currently, the team selection round of SS 8 is going on. Here are the rules for the top 20 contestants.

The Super Singer 8 judges are divided into 2 teams. Team 1 consists of judges Benny Dayal and Kalpana Raghavendar from SS 8 host Priyanka's team and Team 2 consists of SS8 judges Unnikrishnan, Anuradha Sriram from the SS8 host Makapa.

Each one of the top 20 Super Singer 8 contestants will perform a song on the stage.

If only one of the Super Singer judge's team presses the buzzer then the contestant will join that judge's team. If both the judge's team presses the buzzer then the contestant will have the chance to go with any judge they like.

If the Super Singer judges desperately want the singer in their team, they can strike the gong which will make the contestant to that judge's team.
