Super Singer Junior 8 is a reality show telecasted on Vijay TV where kids compete to exhibit their singing talents.

The latest promo of Super Singer Junior 8 (16-4-2022, 17-4-2022) for the upcoming episode starts with Anchor Priyanka and Makapa introducing the round of the week as the "Top 10 celebration round".

The contestants along with the senior super singer stars are present on the sets of SSJ8 for the celebration. Two more judges Binni Krishnakumar and Unni Krishnan are present to judge the contestants this week.

The anchors announce the battle of the week is between the Seniors and the juniors. 

Krishaang, Neha, and Moses sing "Poovukul olindirukum" for which the judges get down the stage and appreciate them.  

The new promo of Super Singer Junior 8 (16 April 2022, 17 April 2022) shows the senior Super Singer stars Sivaangi, Bharath, Sridhar Sena, Manasi, Sam Vishal, Muthu Sirpi and Ayyanar are present on the sets of SSJ8.

Trinita and Rihana give a rocking performance on the song "Nangai" which is enjoyed by all the judges. They compete with Sivaangi and Ayyanar who gives their performance on "Ottakatha Kattiko".

Today's Super Singer Junior 8 16th April 2022 episode starts with Anchor Makapa and Priyanka announcing the week to be the ‘Top 10 celebration round’ and announcing that it is going to be juniors Vs seniors battle. 

The judges supporting the juniors team are Shankar Mahadevan, Kalpana and Binni Krishnakumar. The judges supporting the senior team are Anuradha, Shwetha and Unni Krishnan. The anchors welcome all the judges. 

They then welcome the Super singer stars present on the sets of SSJ8 to compete against the kids. The members of the senior teams are Sivaangi, Bharath, Sridhar Sena, Manasi, Sam Vishal, Muthu Sirpi, Anu, Parthiban, Abilash, Santhosh, Vikram and Ayyanar.

The Senior Vs Junior battle happens where the seniors select their junior contestants for the battles based on a spin wheel task. 

The first performance of the week is delivered by Sam Vishal and Bharath who battles against Hari Krishna and Srimathi. Both deliver stunning performances and impress the judges. The junior team gets a standing ovation from all the judges. Bharath and Sam Vishal win the battle. 

The next battle is between Abilash, Anu and Afina, Sarvesh. Both deliver impressive performances. Seniors get standing ovations from all the judges. Abilash and Anu win the battle. 

Meanwhile, the trailer of a new album song "Theera Kadhaley" composed and sung by Santhosh Balaji and Sam Vishal is released on the sets of SSJ8. All the judges appreciate, encourage and motivate them for their future endeavours. 

Next, Manasi, Sridhar Sena and Parthiban come in for their battle and deliver their performance. They get standing ovations from Shwetha, Anuradha and Unni Krishnan. They get appreciated by all the judges.

Today's Super Singer Junior 8 17th April episode commences with a celebratory dance of all the contestants, Super singer stars and anchors on the song "Vali maame valipu"

Anchor Makapa and Priyanka announce the continuation of the ‘Top 10 celebration round’. They then welcome all the judges, contestants and super singer stars. 

Aditi and Aadya come to give the first performance of the day against yesterday's performers Manasi, Sridhar Sena and Parthiban. They get standing ovations from all the judges for their performance. Kalpana gets down the stage and dances during their performance. The battle becomes a tie.

To deliver the next performance Muthu Sirpi and Vikram enter the stage and battle against Neha, Krishaang and Moses. The juniors get a standing ovation from all the judges. Shwetha, Anuradha and Unni Krishnan get down from the stage and appreciate them. The juniors win the battle. 

The last battle of the week is between the Rihana and Trinita of juniors and the seniors Sivaangi and Ayyanar. All the judges get down the stage and appreciate Rihana and Trinita for their performance. Sivaangi and Ayyanar get standing ovations from all the judges and Anuradha gets down the stage and appreciates them. Trinita and Rihana win the battle. 

Meanwhile, the public voting is announced as Srimathi and Sarvesh are in the danger zone. The total number of votes is 580051 out of which 370342 votes are obtained by Srimathi and get to the Top 10 contestants of SSJ8. Sarvesh is evicted from the show. All get emotional over the elimination of Sarvesh. 

Both seniors and juniors have won equal number of battles and share the trophy. 

Trinita and Rihana win the special prize of the week Television, Refrigerator and microwave oven.

The golden voice of the week is won by Krishaang, Neha and Moses. The Best Performers of the week are announced as Manasi and Anu and the Best entertainer is given to Muthu Sirpi and Ayyanar.
