Kapil Sharma's The Kapil Sharma Show beats Sunil Grover's Kanpur Wale Khuranas. 

2018 was a potpourri of friendships, fights, supernatural shows, and a lot of entertainment. The year bid farewell with the comeback of Television’s most loved comedians- Kapil Sharma and Gutthi aka Sunil Grover.

The two ex-friends hit the small screens with their respective shows. Kapil Sharma rocked the viewers with his favorite show The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV. The first episode of TKSS premiered on 29th December 2018 with the Simmba team as its first guest.

Sunil Grover hit the small screen with his show Kanpur Waale Khuranas on Star Plus. The show aired for the first time on 15th December 2018. KWK too had the Simmba stars as their first guests.

Where on the one hand, TKSS made people go crazy over the show, Kanpur Wale Khurana had to face a slow start.

Kapil Sharma’s entry was celebrated by his fans with much enthusiasm. Their happiness was evident from the appreciation and applause the people poured on TKSS through their social media handles.

However, Kanpur Waale Khuranas couldn’t create much buzz which was reflected in the low TRP ratings of the serial.
