The top-performing Indian Television channel ratings for 2022 have been released and Star Maa from the Telugu Language topped it all.

From the top serials of Star Plus, one might assume that it is Star Plus topping the Top channel list but you are wrong.

Even though the Hindi heartland is huge but it is the Tamil and Telugu audience who are die-hard fans and contribute to Sun TV and Star Maa’s TRP Ratings.

It is Maa TV beating all the channels in terms of viewership putting Star Plus in the third position in terms of visitors’ impressions.

Star Maa (Telugu) is the number 1 channel in India followed by Sun TV (Tamil) at number 2 place and Star Plus at third position respectively.

AMA’000, Average Minute Audience in ‘000s is a viewership measurement terminology used by BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council). 

This terminology helps the body to know how many individuals in 000s of a target audience viewed the channel and it is averaged across minutes.
