In the upcoming story of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Birla's name will take a toll on Parth and Shefali's relationship.

So far in the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Parth has turned into a sadist ever since his mother took hold of Birla hospital rein and became an abuser of power. 

Mahima keeps pressurising Parth to live up to Birla's name and not let down her reputation.
