Today's Anupama 16th August 2023 episode starts with Anuj turning off the music while everyone else stands in shock to see Romil like this.

When the music is off, Romil gets riled up and calls Anuj a bloody moron after which he is about to verbally abuse Anupama too.

However, before that happens, Anuj slaps Romil, leading him to fall near the table.

Ankush helps Romil get up as he stares hard at Anuj while Anuj says that Ankush should be glad this was just a slap.

If his son had crossed the limit with Anupama, he would be lying dead.

Meanwhile, Toshu and Samar sit near Vanraj and Hasmukh outside the house.

Vanraj holds Sanar's hand tightly and asks him how he is.

Samar gets emotional but tries to hide it, asking Vanraj if he called him to rebuke him further.

Vanraj looks troubled while Hasmukh says that a father's love is very silent.

He loves his children deeply but doesn't express it while Toshu also gets emotional hearing it.

He gets up to make coffee for everyone and asks Samar to crack a joke.

However, a silent Samar just says that his life has become like a joke which makes Vanraj feel discomforted.

At Kapadia House, Anuj angrily yells to everyone to get out while rebuking Ankush that they failed today as the child of this house is drunk and doesn't even know what he is doing.

Meanwhile, Vanraj makes Samar understand that they have no problem with him living alone and will always love him no matter what.

Further, Samar is free to please his wife but that doesn't mean he has to take loans from outside to be happy.

Rather, Samar should make Dimpy understand the importance of money as they both have the rest of their lives ahead of them.

Meanwhile, Dimpy who is watching them from a window thinks that everyone is brainwashing Samar against him today.

Samar listens to each word carefully as Hasmukh jokes that they should gather like this every month and do Coffee Pe Charcha.

On the other hand, Romil asks Adhik what he is smiling about while he asks Pakhi how dare she complain against him to her mother when he kept her secret.

Anuj and Anupama look at each other while Pakhi tries to say that the music was so loud that it gathered attention.

Meanwhile, Hasmukh also says that for them, both Samar and Toshu are the same along with Kinjal and Dimpy.

With gentle eyes, Samar says that he cannot believe that even after so much, his family is talking so lovingly to him.

Internally, Vanraj says that he will obey every relationship but just not the one, referring to Kavya's baby.

Meanwhile, Anuj scolds Ankush that Romil may be a child but he is not and should teach his son how to use manners.

When Romil says that he can manage his life, Anuj points toward the whole room and harshly says that he can see how well Romil can manage.

Further, an angry Anuj makes it clear to Ankush that he never likes to raise his hand at anyone but if the children of this house will behave like this, he will.

Anuj also says that he and Anupama have taken a stand before also and will take this time also without any hesitation.

Just then, Romil flips and says that he doesn't need his father or his mother as he doesn't like living in this jail as well.

He painfully yells that he has survived alone and can survive alone in the future as well since everyone else is doing what they want but nobody asked him what he wants.
