Today's Anupama 16th February 2023 episode starts with Kavya entering the Shah household and starting to cry, making the family members gather around her to know what the matter is.

Kavya struggles to say anything but still asks Hasmukh about what Vanraj did earlier by coming to her set.

As Hasmukh tries to calm down Kavya, she says that Vanraj created a scene at the shoot and argued with Mohit which made her lose her latest contract with him.

Everyone stares at Vanraj as Kavya tells them about his actions, leaving Vanraj with guilt residing in his eyes.

Vanraj says sorry to Kavya but Kavya asks him what the meaning is now saying such a thing after he has ruined everything.

Leela stares at everyone, trying to figure out their own problems and reminds them that there is a patient in their house who needs care.

Kavya says that she understands she needs to be with her family but she is trying to be there with them by working more and raising the financial burden off their shoulders.

As Kavya cries and says that Vanraj does not believe her enough to let her work in peace, Vanraj also gives up and says that enough is enough.

Kavya warns Vanraj that she will not forgive him if he does anything like that again and from now on, she will not say anything about her career to the family members.

Rakhi joins in and says that Kinjal is doing whatever she can, so the Shah family needs to stop expecting so much from her recalling Toshu’s betrayal.

Leela holds her forehead in the brink of breaking down when Rakhi announces that she will take Pari with her as they cannot take proper care of her.

As Leela questions everyone about taking care of Toshu in such a state, Kavya says that Toshu is not her responsibility as she is concerned with her career more than him.

Hearing that, Leela understands the motto of the family members and gets anxious regarding the direction they are heading to.

Meanwhile, Anuj and Anupama discuss Barkha telling them that Maaya was prying into their room and thinking that she did it for Anu.

Anuj thanks Anupama for coming back to him after Anupama finds herself in a distress in the middle of the night.

Anupama confesses that she missed Anuj and Anu a lot more than them and shares a lovely hug with Anuj.

Just then, someone rings the doorbell and Anuj goes to check the door, finding no one but Leela standing outside.

Leela struggles to breathe as she came running after her rickshaw crashed midway while Anuj and Anupama help her to calm down.

Leela tells Anupama that her curse is acting up on her as everything is falling apart in their family.

Everyone gets shocked to hear that Toshu cracked his head open by falling from the bed earlier while Vanraj arrives and asks Leela to return home.

Leela says that she was wrong about not needing Anupama and starts to beg in front of Anupama.

Barkha asks Leela why she is trying to emotionally blackmail Anupama and always selfishly separates Anuj and Anupama for her needs.

Leela says that this time it is Anupama’s need too as Toshu is her son which convinces Anupama to go with Leela and she asks Anuj for permission.

As Anuj gives his permission without having any choice, Barkha notices a sly smile on Maya’s face.

Anupama goes inside to inform Anu about her sudden leaving so that she does not get nervous after she wakes up.
