Today's Anupama 17th August 2023 episode starts with Anuj tells Romil that his shenanigans will not be tolerated in this house anymore.

Romil loses control and ends up kicking the sofa and breaking the plates.

Anuj says that he is only one step away from slapping Romil again while Anupama holds Anuj back, asking him to calm down.

She tries to make Romil understand that what he is doing is wrong and he may have lived alone before.

However, all his purchases and ill manners won't be tolerated by anyone if he continues to behave like this.

Romil announces that he is going to leave this house since it feels like a jail and Anupama asks him to reconsider his decision.

She tells him that nobody will take responsibility if he doesn't earn while Ankush asks Romil to apologize to Anuj-Anupama as this is their house.

Romil finally apologizes and goes to his room while Barkha huffs as she hopes Romil wouldn't have apologized.

Just then, Ankush says that it is all his fault that Romil is this way as he never could become a good father.

Anuj tells Ankush frankly that all he wants is peace in this house and not fights while Ankush says that he will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Meanwhile, an angry Romil relives the slap given to him by Anuj and says Anuj humiliated him in front of his friends.

The next morning, Leela gets pained as she sees white broad lines being made in her house, dividing the kitchen..

She asks Kinjal who did this and Kinjal says it is Dimpy.

Just then, Dimple also comes there while greeting Leela good morning sarcastically.

Leela says that one day the poison Dimple utters will eat herself while Dimple smiles and asks her to move away since she is standing in her area.

On the other hand, Anupama makes chocolate milkshake for Anuj and kisses him on his cheek while Barkha and Adhik come there in the living room.

Barkha asks Anuj how the meeting with Talvar was while reminding Anuj that she also wants to be part of the business like she was in his absence.

Anuj thanks Barkha for handling the business but with a sharp look, he also says that there are many issues that make Barkha sweat.

Anuj brings files from previous months, demonstrating to both Adhik and Barkha that all of them have one thing in common and that is losses.

Hence he didn't feel taking them to the meeting wasn't important.

Further, Anuj indicates to Barkha that he knows what went behind his back after which he calls Pakhi.

Pakhi comes there and asks Anuj what happened while Anuj tells her that she will head the Talvar case along with Anu.

Pakhi erupts into happiness and hugs Anuj tightly while Adhik goes to his room to release his anger on the bed by punching it.

Meanwhile, Romil comes to the living room and asks for a black coffee while Anuj says no black coffees will be served today.
