Today's Anupama 17th March 2023 episode starts with Maaya telling Anupama that even though she and Anuj are exceptionally good parents, luck is with Maaya this time.

Anupama tells Maaya that luck should be with her always as she is taking Anu with her and needs to keep her happy.

Maaya asks them to hurry up a bit as she and Anu have to leave for the flight after half an hour leaving everyone silent.

Anupama says that they have 30 minutes to say their goodbyes to Anu and relive every memory that they wish to have with their daughter.

Anuj and Anupama take Anu to the dining table and feed her tasty dishes made by them to let her remember how the taste is here.

After that, Anu gets farewell gifts from everyone and they dance around Anuj, Anupama, and Anu with smiles on their faces to make Anu happy.

However, Maaya says that it is enough and they should leave now as time is ticking away without stopping for a bit.

Anuj carries Anu in his arms with Anupama accompanying them when she remembers that Anu’s water bottle got left in the room.

Dimple brings it from the room after which Anupama says that Anu should drink water as she ate sweet things earlier.

After Anupama makes Anu drink water, she again presents another excuse and says that she did not do the tika while Anuj adds to carry out the nazar ritual.

With the rituals getting over, Anuj asks Anu to light up the diya at the temple before leaving which Anu happily does and tells Anuj and Anupama to think of that diya as her.

Maaya says enough is enough and asks Anuj and Anupama to let her and Anu leave now as their flight will leave in some time.

Anu asks Anuj and Anupama to leave her out by themselves after which both Anuj and Anupama hold onto Anu’s hands and lead her outside to the taxi.

Anupama carries Anu in her arms as Anu asks her to take care of herself and Anuj after she is gone.

After putting Anu into the taxi, Maaya tells Anuj and Anupama that she is thankful to them but Anu will not come back to that house anymore.

Maaya gets into the taxi while Anuj and Anupama stare at Anu with tear-filled eyes as they run after the car to stop it but watches it disappear in the road.

Falling to their knees on the ground, Anuj and Anupama cry out their souls seeing their daughter go away forever.

Later, the Shah family comes back and discusses the sad and gloomy atmosphere after Anu had left Maaya.

Leela says that it is Anupama’s fault for allowing Maaya to come and stay with them but Kavya says that Maaya took advantage of their good nature.

Hasmukh says that a mother can take any decision for her child’s happiness but it will be hard for Anuj to accept that fact.

Meanwhile, Anuj lies on the floor with Anu’s toys and photos while Anupama comes and hugs him but Anuj’s expression remains blank and dead.
