Today's Anupama 18th March 2023 episode starts with Anuj telling Anupama that he has failed as a parent as Anu left him for Maaya because he could not give her enough love and care that was needed.

Anupama tells Anuj that it is not the case as Anuj is one of the best fathers who kept their daughter’s happiness over his own despite it being hard to let her go.

Meanwhile, Anu watches her photo with Anuj and Anupama and misses them a lot while Maaya asks her why she is being so sad.

Anu says that Anupama always spent time with time and Anuj even brought his office work home to play with her.

Anu tells Maaya that Anuj and Anupama are probably very sad because of her and starts crying as she feels their absence a lot after being separated from them.

Maaya says that Anu will feel sad for a bit but slowly and steadily, she will forget Anuj and Anupama which offends Anu as she does not want to forget them ever.

Emotionally making Anu guilty, Maaya asks her if she wants to return to Anuj and Anupama as she can manage to stay alone by herself.

Anu hugs Maaya and says that she does not want to leave her alone like that, making Maaya happy.

Back at Kapadia mansion, Anuj tells Anupama that he was also an orphan but he got loving parents during his childhood.

However, Anuj failed in that role as Anu never received parents who are sufficient to fulfill her needs for love and attention.

The next day, Anuj starts cooping up in Anu’s room and stares at her doll continues refusing to talk to anybody including Anupama.

Barkha and Ankush try to talk to Anuj while he builds a playhouse and asks him about the office matters that are pending his decisions and actions.

Anuj asks them to leave without responding to any other things said by them as he is lost in his world of Anu.

Anupama slowly feels herself breaking mentally and emotionally, slowly watching Anuj drowning in the memories of Anu and isolating himself from everyone.

Back at the Shah household, Kavya and Anirudh actively work together while Vanraj and Leela glare at them.

Samar shows Pakhi, Adhik, Toshu, and Kinjal a video of Anuj and they worry about Anuj and Anupama’s relationship that is getting distant.

Hasmukh comes to visit Anupama and she cries on his shoulder, explaining to him how Anuj is acting weird for days without talking to anybody.

The next day, Anu calls Anuj and Anupama which brings a big smile to Anuj’s face as he talks with his daughter.

As soon as Anu hangs up, Anuj’s mood becomes gloomy again but Anupama decides to bring Anuj out of that slump or else he will go into depression.

Anupama asks Anuj to look at her while talking and asks him why he is ignoring her like that without looking at her or talking to her since Anu left.
