Today's Anupama 20th August 2022 episode starts with Anupama requesting the Shahs to take some rest in their house after warning Barkha.

Anupama goes to Anuj and Ankush says things are getting out of hand and they need to do something.

Anupama goes to Anuj and rests her head on his chest, and tells him that tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun.

Anupama is helping Choti, when Choti asks why Kanha comes to earth, Anupama explains that when the evil gets bigger and stronger than the good, then the lord comes to punish the guilty.

Suddenly Barkha and Ankush barge in and asks Anupama to put CCTV, Anupama agrees and they set it. 

When the nurse laughs at Barkha, Barkha shouts at her and says that she does not need a nurse who reads the novel in their profession, she tells her to get lost but Anupama disagrees and says Shilpi (nurse) is honest at work.

Meanwhile, Barkha tells Ankush that Anupama is playing mind games with them. She continues and asks him to sort out the legal issues with the lawyer while she prepares for the bigger celebrations.

In the Shah mansion, Vanraj asks Hasmukh how Anuj is and he tells positively that his room has been made a hospital.

Vanraj says that he is going to meet Anuj but Paritosh stops him and says that if he goes Barkha would insult him and accuse him again along with blaming Anupama for teaming up with Vanraj, this hurts Vanraj to see that he is responsible for every problem.

Following this, Anupama, GK and Choti are preparing cakes for tomorrow, and Barkha and Ankush sort out the legal issues on a video call with their lawyer in the living room.

In the Shah mansion, Vanraj hallucinates Choti coming to him and begins blaming him for Anuj and Anupama’s condition. He is terrified and says to visit Anuj right now but Ba stops him and he agrees in front of her but decides to go later.

During the night, Anupama, Choti, Shilpi, and GK Ji celebrate Anuj’s birthday and give him cards.

Later, GK Ji takes Choti to make her sleep and Shilpi also goes for a while. Anupama covers the camera with a towel and spends some private time with Anuj.

She was resting her head on his chest when she dreams Anuj woke up and tells her to dance on his birthday, she gets overjoyed with the dream and wishes it fulfils soon when suddenly the candle blows off.

In the morning, Barkha and Ankush get the papers from the lawyer and Barkha says the celebration begins now.

In Shah’s mansion, Vanraj seeks Kanha Ji’s help to know the truth behind it all.

Anupama comes in the room to give aarti to Anuj when she sees his eyes open and panics.

The nurse tells her to call the doctor, and she quickly calls him and impatiently waits for him.
