Today's Anupama 20th February 2023 episode starts withLeela complaining about Anupama leaving and causing a scene in front of the family in anger.

Hasmukh mocks Leela by saying that she has three stages in her life, being born, humiliating Anupama, and dying.

Samar and Kinjal assure Leela that Toshu is perfectly fine and happy as he is watching TV along with Pari.

Hasmukh notices Kavya sitting gloomily and tries to comfort her by reassuring her that Mohit will call her back soon.

However, Kavya tells Hasmukh that they already completed the assignment with some other model and she needs to search for new work.

Without making eye contact with Vanraj, Kavya bids everyone good night and leaves the living room by herself.

Meanwhile, Maaya arranges the food and suggests to Anu they cut the cake first before starting to eat together.

Anu tells Anuj that it would have been better if Anupama would be with them which irks Maaya greatly.

Anuj motivates Anu into having more patience while Anu prays to God that Toshu becomes healthy quickly so that Anupama returns to her.

Seeing Anuj and Anu cut the cake together, Maaya walks toward them and forwards her hand to hold Anuj’s hand when it suddenly gets dark.

Anuj feels a hand embracing his and a smile breaks out on his face as he understands that it is none other than Anupama.

Anupama surprises Anuj and Anu as the light returns, while Maaya stands at the side with a shocked face.

Anu hugs Anupama instantly and says that she missed her very much while Anuj also makes eye contact with Anupama and smiles.

Anupama cuts the cake with Anuj and Anu while Maaya burns in jealousy as she thinks she should be the one with them instead of Anupama.

Anu asks Anupama why she came back so soon and says if it is because of her or Anuj.

Anupama answers that she came back because of both of them and offers the cake to Maaya but she says that she has put almonds in it to which she is allergic.

Anu says happily that she can go to the school picnic with Anuj and Anupama now that Anupama is back.

Anupama promises Anu that she will go with her but Anuj seems a bit hesitant to hear that.

While Anu goes inside, Anuj asks Anupama not to promise anything that she cannot keep as he does not want Anu’s heart to get broken.

Anupama assures Anuj that she will keep her promise when Samar calls her and asks her where Toshu’s syrup is.

Anuj and Anupama continue their talk when Leela’s call comes and she asks Anupama to come to their house the next day to take Toshu to the hospital.

Anupama tells Leela that she will not be able to go as she has to go to the picnic with Anu and hangs up the call.

Anuj tells Anupama that he does not trust the Shahs and fears that something like this will go on there too restricting both Anu and Anupama from having fun.

Maaya interrupts by saying that she will go with Anu as she is also her mother and asks Anuj if he has any issues.

Anuj announces that Maaya will go with him and Anu to the picnic leaving Anupama’s heart shattered.

Trying to explain to Anupama, Anuj says that he does not want the same thing as that dance competition to repeat again.

Anupama agrees to go along with Anuj’s decision and tells Anu that she will not go but cries silently by herself.
