Today's Anupama 22nd February 2023 episode starts with Kinjal feeding Toshu while Vanraj asks him to get ready for his hospital appointment after the meal.

As Toshu asks Vanraj if Anupama is coming, Leela starts saying that his mother left him and went to enjoy herself at a picnic.

Just then Anupama enters and says that she never left for the picnic leaving everyone shocked in the Kapadia family.

Hasmukh asks Anupama why she is here to which Anupama replies that Anuj denied her going to the picnic as she would continuously remain distracted by Toshu and this family’s needs.

Anupama tells everyone how they were constantly calling her while she was talking about the picnic to Anuj which made him realize that those phone calls will continue there too.

Leela asks Anupama not to release Anuj’s anger on them as it is not their mistake for calling her if they are facing any issues.

Anupama asks Samar to find the drawers before calling her and explains to Kinjal that she should have the presence of mind to make another vegetable soup if Toshu refuses to eat whatever she made.

Leela asks Anupama to go to her picnic the next day as no one would call her then but Anupama says that Maaya went in her place.

Hearing that everyone gets shocked, Leela comments why Maaya is acting like Anuj’s wife which strikes a chord in Anupama.

Meanwhile, Anu plays on the trampoline while Anuj and Maaya stand by the side and enjoy seeing Anu happy.

Anuj’s face lights up as Anupama calls him while Maaya feels irritated seeing Anuj and Anupama interacting.

Anupama asks Anuj if they reached safely and asks him to show Anu once after which she asks Anuj to give the phone to Anu.

However, Anu gets excited hearing the announcement where the teacher calls Mr. and Mrs. Kapadia to come and participate in the game.

Anuj asks Anu to calm down a bit as he is talking to Anupama on the phone but Anu asks him and Maaya to hurry up while pulling their arms.

Anupama is left shattered as Anuj hangs up the call after Anu starts being stubborn which gets noticed by Vanraj from the side.

After Anupama and others return from the check-up, everyone insists she stays with them instead of going to that empty house.

Anupama agrees after Samar, Pakhi, and especially Toshu insist on her, which puts Vanraj at ease as the family remains happy when Anupama is there.

The kids surprise Anupama with a fun setup where they can play games together which makes Anupama happy but she still thinks about the phone call earlier.

At the same time, Anuj tells the teacher for the hundredth time that he and Maaya are not a couple with an angry tone.

Maaya asks Anuj to be a bit considerate of Anu as she would feel left out on seeing other’s parents which change Anuj’s mind and he agrees to participate in the game with Maaya.

In the game, the father has to wrap the mother with a tissue roll completely without breaking the paper.

Anuj intentionally breaks the paper toward the end as he does not want to win the game with Maaya.

Coming back to the Shah family, Anupama, and Vanraj get paired in the same team while Kavya notices that Vanraj’s gaze towards Anupama has changed tremendously.

After a game of catch ball which Anupama and Vanraj win, everybody requests Anupama to dance while Anu also asks Maaya to dance at the picnic.
