Today's Anupama 22nd March 2023 episode starts with Hasmukh trying to make Anupama uplifted by asking her to dance with him and others and starting the song “Rang Barse”.

Everyone dances around Anupama in joy to make her feel included but Anupama stares in the direction of the entrance to look for Anuj if he is entering.

Anupama’s face lights up as she watches Anuj walking toward her and standing at a distance with his arms open for her to go to him.

Anuj engulfs Anupama in a tight hug as she comes running toward him and they get shocked to see Anu appear there out of nowhere.

Anuj and Anupama play Holi with Anu and lovingly put colors on each other lovingly to let each other know how much they love.

However, that happy ideal image turns out to be Anupama’s imagination and she smiles faintly as others put color on her.

Anupama puts colors on others and tries to be happy for a bit even though her mind still lingers over the absence of Anuj and Anu.

Anuj enters the Holi event with Dheeraj and stares at Anupama who is playing Holi with others with a smile on her face.

Anuj feels his heart being penetrated as Anupama comes running to him and asks him to put color on her after wishing him a Happy Holi.

Without hesitating, Anuj says that this Holi might be happy for Anupama, but not for him as he has not recovered from the grief of Anu being gone unlike her.

Anuj asks Anupama how she can play Holi with others with a smile on her face and gets battered as Anupama asks him why he is acting like that.

Anupama gets shocked as Anuj screams for her to stop her act and starts mocking her for being a selfish and arrogant mother.

Anuj says that his and Anu’s absence does not matter anything to Anupama as she is playing Holi happily with her family and kids.

Everyone gets shocked as Anuj says that Anupama is celebrating as she is independent of Anu’s responsibilities.

Anuj makes Anu apply color to him and asks everyone to play Holi happily while dispersing colors in the air in a shattered voice.

After applying color to Anupama and saying that only she deserves all the happiness of Holi, Anuj leaves with Anupama going after him.

Samar tries to interfere after watching Anuj act like that but Anupama stops him and says that this matter is between her and Anuj.

Dheeraj and Devika also leave the Holi event along with Ankush while Anupama follows Anuj at a distance as he lurks around aimlessly.

Later, the Shahs discuss Anuj’s behavior and Hasmukh decides to talk to him but Vanraj stops him saying that Anupama would not like it.

Vanraj justifies his past actions under the banner of being a father by comparing himself with Anuj.

Meanwhile, Anuj tries to call Maaya as he wants to talk to Anu and bumps into Anupama who is standing behind him as she wants to talk everything out with him.
