Today's Anupama 23rd August 2023 episode starts with Pakhi and Adhik sitting in their room while Pakhi clings to Adhik's arm and puts her head on his shoulder.

Pakhi says that she is sorry for her parents' behaviour and assures Adhik that she will never let anything happen to Adhik while she can protect him.

Pakhi says that she is happy to see that Adhik also cares about her and their misunderstanding got solved with this matter being exposed.

Meanwhile, Toshu tells Vanraj that they have to clear the misunderstanding in Pakhi's mind that Adhik is a good person and will not do something like that again.

Vanraj says that they all tried to explain things to Pakhi but she is not ready to hear anyone out.

Leela says that Pakhi has married by going against the family so she thinks that she is obliged to improve the marriage by herself.

At the same time, Anupama panics thinking about how she can save Pakhi if Adhik is forcing himself on Pakhi with the excuse of love but Anuj asks her to calm down.

Anuj tells Anupama that the matter is very sensitive and they need to handle it very carefully if they want Pakhi to open her heart to them about her problems.

Elsewhere, Pakhi kneels down in front of Adhik and asks him why he is not answering her to which Adhik asks her why she took a stand for him even though he beat her up.

Pakhi says that she loves Adhik and can do anything while Adhik says that Anuj, Anupama, and Vanraj want to send him to jail after which he hugs Pakhi.

However, Pakhi groans in pain as Adhik squeezes her tightly in his arms and says that Pakhi is portraying herself as a victim to get in the good books of Anuj and Anupama.

Pakhi asks Adhik to let her go and falls on the bed while trying to push away Adhik after which Adhik acts like he has made a mistake and tells Pakhi that he does not know why he becomes angry like that.

Adhik starts saying sorry while clutching onto Pakhi's lap while Pakhi says that she understands Adhik and will not let anything bad happen to him.

With his act of manipulation, Adhik again hugs Pakhi gently while Anuj and Anupama watch that scene from outside the room and think that everything is all right.

Anupama says that her heart still feels anxious when suddenly she and Anuj hear the sweet tunes of the guitar and follow that to Romil's room.

Anupama and Anuj get shocked to see Romil playing guitar in his room but he stops as he notices them there.

Anuj says that he can enrol Romil on guitar classes if he wants but Romil says that he just plays guitar as a time-pass.

After Anuj and Anupama leave, Romil hugs the guitar and says that the guitar is like an escape route for him and he is not giving that away.

Meanwhile, Kavya comes to her room after not feeling well and tells Vanraj that Pakhi will surely fight back soon as she is Anupama's daughter and cannot be stepped on forever.

Vanraj shares his concern about not being able to do anything for Pakhi while Kavya tells him that her sonography reports are normal and leaves the reports with him which Vanraj looks at after Kavya leaves.

Elsewhere, Anuj and Anupama discuss how Romil has been suppressing so many painful things in his heart and Anupama says that Romil needs a mother.

Anuj asks Anupama how many children she is willing to adopt which makes her laugh.

Later, at night, Anupama continues to think about Adhik forcing himself on Pakhi which makes her anxious.
