Today's Anupama 26th May 2023 episode starts with Anupama getting surprised to see Anuj there and breathing heavily as Anuj is standing very close to her.

Both lovers maintain eye contact with each other for some moments before Anupama asks Anuj to move back and asks him why he has come there.

Anuj tells Anupama that he needs to say many things to her and could not wait for the sangeet function to be over.

Anupama gets emotionally invested in hearing Anuj's words and asks him to complete his words which he started in the market.

Anuj says that there is a hidden truth about why he could not return on time to Ahmedabad that day and proceeds to say further when suddenly Meenu comes there and gives Anupama her phone which was ringing.

Anupama takes the phone and notices Guru Maa calling which makes her nervous and she quickly accepts the call, stopping Anuj from talking further.

Anuj again tries to continue about that day when Anupama tells him that she needs to go now and leaves the room leaving Anuj impatient and angry.

Meanwhile, Guru Maa scolds the dancers for choosing fancy costumes which are not suitable for them to represent their country on an international scale.

Anupama enters the Gurukul and tells sorry for being late as she could not hear her phone in the middle of music at the Sangeet function.

Nakul asks Anupama to stop giving family excuses every time she is late to the events and schedules while Guru Maa walks to Anupama.

Anupama tells Guru Maa that it is her fault that she could not receive the calls earlier but she cannot leave away her responsibilities as a mother.

Guru Maa says that a mistake is fatal even if it is committed unintentionally to which Anupama replies that she cannot deny her son the happiness of having his mother with him during his wedding.

As Anupama talks about the relationship between a mother and a son, Guru Maa's expression softens and she asks Anupama when the wedding is taking place.

Anupama happily says that it is the day after tomorrow and proceeds to do the costume trials when Guru Maa notices Anuj's name on Anupama's hands.

Guru Maa asks Anupama if she still loves Anuj to which Anupama replies that some relationships cannot be broken even if the people in it get separated.

After Anupama and the other dancers go away to try out the costumes, Guru Maa says that she fears that Anupama's love for Anuj will stop her from pursuing her dreams.

Guru Maa says that she has thought of unbelievable things for Anupama's future which makes Nakul nervous as he thinks that Guru Maa is going to hand over the Gurukul to Anupama.

Meanwhile, Maaya, Anu, and Barkha prepare to leave the sangeet function when Anuj tells them to go home as he has some work to do along with Ankush.

Vanraj, Maaya, and Barkha stare at each other suspiciously while Ankush goes along with Anuj and leaves the house with him.

On their way, Ankush gets out of the car and tells Anuj to resolve everything with Anupama at once and clear the misunderstandings.

While Anupama is about to leave, Nakul asks Anupama not to be overconfident as Guru Maa did not scold her earlier as she will get kicked if she repeats such behavior constantly.

Anupama walks on the road when Anuj reaches there and asks Anupama to get into the car with him as he needs to talk to her.
