Today's Anupama 28th July 2023 episode starts with Kavya coming to her room and telling herself that she has to tell the truth to Vanraj soon.

Kavya fears that this truth will ruin everything that is getting better between her and Vanraj and she does not want to lose Vanraj once again due to her own mistakes.

The two personalities of Kavya talk to her as one asks her to be honest and confess the truth to Vanraj as she cannot betray him in love.

The other one asks Kavya to shut up her mouth and let everything be the way it is.

Kavya says that this truth needs to be shared with someone as she cannot bear the guilt by herself and needs to let it out with another person.

Just then, Vanraj comes there and keeps his hand on Kavya's shoulder making her shiver in shock and Kavya starts crying while hugging Vanraj.

Vanraj says sorry for shocking Kavya like that and says that he can help her in getting ready but cannot do her makeup only, making Kavya happy and distracted for some moments.

The baby shower function starts and the family members enter the venue like fashion icons as couples starting with Anuj & Anupama along with Anu.

As Pakhi enters with Ankush and Adhik enters with Barkha, Leela asks Pakhi why she did not come with Adhik to which Adhik seems uncomfortable as he does not want to be with Pakhi at all.

After everyone settles down, Toshu says that Kavya looks the most beautiful at this event and everyone says that it is because of her motherly glow.

Toshu says that he wishes that the upcoming baby will be the best child and better than all of them as he surely is the most rude and useless child of the household who has done countless mistakes till day.

Toshu promises that he is trying to become a good son of the household so that everyone in the family would be proud of him and can introduce him without any shame.

Vanraj and Anupama hug Toshu and tell him that he can surely be the best of all their children if he shows effort while Dimple tells Samar that Toshu intended those words toward him.

Samar says that Dimple thinks in that manner and shuts her up by telling her that he knows Toshu more closely than her.

Meanwhile, Malti Devi cannot concentrate on her dance practice and gets a message from Dimple telling her about the baby shower function which triggers something in her.

Anupama asks everyone to give their gifts to Kavya and whisper something good in her ears to fulfil the ritual and Kavya gets nervous as Vanraj says that he will become the best father.

Ankush gets a call from someone and leaves in the middle of the function which bothers Barkha and she starts getting tense thinking that Ankush must have gone to his son.

Everyone plays games including putting tika on the baby picture blindfolded and preparing a baby toy the fastest to enjoy themselves but Kavya does not seem to smile that much.

Adhik comes to talk to Pakhi but Pakhi avoids him to move aside which Leela notices while Barkha talks to Ankush on the phone and says that he cannot do something like that with her.

Vanraj wins the baby preparation game and says that he will become the smartest father for their baby which makes Kavya's smile fade away and Anupama seems to notice that.
