Today's Anupama 29th January 2023 episode starts with Anuj asking Anupama why she has to think for Maaya and her feelings when she is just trying to take away Anu from them.

Anupama says that she is a mother and she understands the pain Maaya is going through regardless of the proof of whether she is lying or telling the truth.

Ankush tells Anupama that they still should look into Maaya properly before making a decision to which Anupama completely agrees.

Anuj makes a bitter face as Anupama asks him how Maaya could come to their house if she did not have a valid reason.

Meanwhile, Maaya caresses Anu while she is sleeping and ties a bracelet to Anu’s hands.

Maaya looks at the polaroid of Anu with Anuj and Anupama and keeps it facing outward so that the picture does not face upward.

Maaya says she has come to take her daughter and will do so no matter what comes her way.

At the same time, Vanraj greases the gate while Leela asks him about the issue of Kavya due to which he is so hot-headed.

Leela says that Maaya entering their and Anupama Anuj’s life simultaneously is not a mere coincidence.

Maaya offering Kavya to go to London seems very suspicious to her and Leela tells Vanraj to do something about it.

However, both Leela and Vanraj stop talking as soon as Hasmukh enters followed by Toshu and his lackey.

Toshu says he has got a new idea of selling snacks to people waiting in the traffic and asks Leela to help with cooking them.

Leela refuses but then agrees as Toshu uses sugarcoated words and lures Leela by making her dream about becoming a businesswoman.

Coming back, Anuj breaks down emotionally as he refuses to believe that Maaya’s motherhood has brought her to meet Anu as she has never even checked out Anu in all these years.

Anuj tells Anupama that Anu means his life to him and he cannot live without his daughter.

Maaya returns to the living room after sitting with Anu a bit and tells Anuj and Anupama that her daughter would have been with her if she did not get into an accident that day.

Maaya says that she was also coming to pick Anu up from the orphanage when Anuj and Anupama brought Anu with them.

However, she got into an accident and was out of her senses for several days which is why she is fighting to keep her own child with her.

Maaya says that she has no one in this world without Anu and will not step down from her decision to take Anu with her.

After Maaya leaves the Kapadia mansion, Anuj breaks down into tears while Anupama tries to comfort him.

On the other hand, Leela realizes that she got buttered up by Toshu earlier and asks him and his lackey to leave her kitchen after wrapping everything up.

Anu comes to Anuj and Anupama after waking up and asks why Maaya left while she was sleeping as she wanted to talk to her.

While Anuj tries to convince Anu that he and Anupama are there with her, Anu says that she loves both of them but cannot leave Maaya too.

Anu asks if she has to choose between Anuj-Anupama and Maaya and live with anyone between them making everyone feel bad.

Anu starts whining about meeting Maaya while both Anuj and Anupama try to calm her down.

Anupama tells Anu that they will ask Maaya to come and live with them leaving Anuj and others shocked.
