Today's Anupama 31st May 2023 episode starts with Anuj and Anupama holding back their tears while they realize that they cannot be together anymore.

Anupama says that Anuj is the reason she was able to live life again after being heartbroken once to which Anuj says that he also did the same with her in the end.

Holding onto Anuj's hand, Anupama tells him that they have no choice other than to move on due to their fates and asks him not to blame himself for whatever happened.

Anuj says that his life has always revolved around Anupama and will continue to do so as he has no space for another person in his heart ever.

Anupama stares at Anuj with eyes full of love while Anuj smiles painfully at Anupama, both of them trying to take into the warmth of their last moments together.

Anupama says "I Maan you" to Anuj which makes him remember their past together and he replies with "I love you too" emotionally.

Anuj and Anupama hug each other tightly one last time before moving on in their lives because of their cruel fates and walk back to the car while the sun comes out in the sky.

After getting inside the car, Anuj and Anupama check their mobiles and spot several missed calls by Maaya, Vanraj, and others which gives the idea that something must have happened.

Meanwhile, Ankush comes back to the Kapadia mansion and Adhik asks him what he and Anuj are trying to do by disappearing into thin air.

Ankush says that Adhik does not need to bother himself with these matters as Anuj and Anupama are together now and they would handle everything by themselves.

Dimple watches the scene from a distance and says that Anuj and Anupama are ruining her marriage day before it even started for which she would never forgive them.

Maaya and Vanraj continue to call Anuj and Anupama while the others sit in the living room and get worried about the couple.

Maaya says that Anuj is neither at the office nor with Ankush as Ankush is not clearly answering them while Vanraj also reveals that Anupama is not in the Gurukul or at Kanta's house.

As Maaya asks where Anuj and Anupama might have gone, Anupama and Anuj appear together at the entrance and say that they are there now.

Maaya gets a major shock at seeing Anuj and Anupama together and asks Anupama why she spent the entire night with Anuj while trying to cling to Anuj.

Everyone gets creeped out on seeing Maaya acting like a mad person while she warns everyone to stay away from Anuj as he belongs to her only.

Vanraj asks Anuj why he went to meet Anupama suddenly after leaving her and says that he will not keep quiet as Samar's wedding is getting affected because of them.

Anuj asks Vanraj why he is getting bothered so much to which Vanraj replies that Anuj should stay away from Anupama as she does not want him in her life anymore.

Anupama asks everyone to shut up and says that even though she and Anuj were together the whole night, no third person has the right to question them as they are husband-wife.

Telling Maaya that Anuj and she had some private things to discuss, Anupama says that she knows the entire truth behind Maaya's behaviour.

Anupama asks Maaya to think about Anu at least and tells Vanraj that she can speak up for herself.

Barkha says that it is great that Anupama knows the truth behind Anuj not returning which spikes Anuj's attention and he asks Barkha how she knows about the truth.
