Today's Anupama 5th February 2023 episode starts with Anupama thanking Maya for giving birth to Choti Anu while Anuj glares at her.

Maya’s eyes get moist as Anupama clarifies that Maya is Choti Anu’s birth mom.

One of the guests asks Anupama if Maya is really Choti Anu’s mom to which Anupama replies that Yashoda was also Krishna’s real mom.

Hearing this, Vanraj comments Anupama is really stupid but Kavya shuts him up by saying that Anupama is honest.

Meanwhile, Anuj’s mood gets even more spoiled when Choti Anu leaves his hand to hold Maya and Anupama’s hand.

Later, Anuj is letting out his frustration when Vanraj and Ankush walk to calm him down.

As Anuj looks at Vanraj with a perplexed expression, Vanraj states that Anuj did not separate him from his kids but Maya will surely do.

Ankush is about to reveal Maya’s real identity to Vanraj but Anuj urges him to stay silent through his eyes.

Meanwhile, Vanraj reminds Anuj that Kavya and Anupama are already at Maya’s side so Anuj needs to do something quickly to which Anuj remarks that Maya’s time has come.

Inside the Kapadia House, Kavya tells Anupama and Maya that whoever spread this norm that a woman is a woman’s enemy should see Anupama and Maya who are handling the situation very maturely.

Afterward, Choti Anu announces a game, and one by one, all the Kapadiya and Shah family members rock the stage with their performances.

When Kavya and Vanraj come to the stage, Vanraj tells Kavya that he is still the same Vanraj who loves her to bits.

Once all the performances end, Anuj thanks everyone for making Anu feel special, however, Maya and Anupama's performance remains. 

Anupama stops in her dance steps as she recalls Anuj’s helpless face whereas Maya feels sacred recalling Anuj’s possessive behavior.

After the performance, Choti Anu feeds the first bite of the cake to Anupama, making Anuj relieved whereas Maya gets upset a bit.

In the meantime, Toshu urges Maya to arrange a meeting during this week only to which Maya replies that she will let him know.

When Toshu informs Maya that his schedule is packed as he has meetings with some ministers, Leela asks him if he is talking about the garbage minister.

As Hashmukh gifts Choti Anu anklets, Anuj tells him that it was not necessary to which Leela taunts him by saying that they gave it on this birthday as it is unsure if Choti Anu will be here or not.

However, everyone gets surprised to see when Sushma slaps Ankush’s friend.

When Arun Kapoor AKA Ankush’s friend calls Sushma and Maya that kind of dancer, Anupama urges him to clarify.

Hasmukh urges the guests to leave whereas Samar takes Choti Anu to the room.

Ankush also orders Arun to walk away and he obeys reluctantly.

Ankush reveals that Maya and Sushma are prostitutes who dance in bars to earn money.

When Ankush calls Choti Anu Maya an illicit child, Maya slaps him, stating that relationships can be illicit not the child.

Barkha and Ankush insult Maya for hiding behind being the mom tag and Ankush alsstateste that Choti Anu is Anuj’s daughter.

However, when Anupama asks if they can’t bring Maya-type of girls, then why don't they comment on the men who go there?

Anupama further says that women dance in these types of bars as dancers to earn money so if dancing is illegal, then watching them is also bad.

With tears in her eyes, Maya says that she will tell the truth for Choti Anu's sake and accepts that she and Sushma used to be bar dancers.
