Today's Anupama 5th March 2023 episode starts with Maya announcing that Anirudh wants Kavya to go back to him.

Leela questions Kavya if it’s true but Maya adds that though she may be overstepping, she knows that a lot of times people hide things just to protect their loved ones from getting hurt.

She quotes the example of her and Anuj hiding from Anupama and adds, therefore, it’s not Kavya’s fault.

Maya defends Anuj and takes all the blame, saying she was the one who crossed all boundaries shamelessly.

However, Leela questions what if it’s planned as to who will take the blame if caught.

Anupama is infuriated and tells Leela to stop pointing fingers at her husband as it’s unacceptable.

She tells them to not interfere in their family matter and focus on their own problems.

As they bid the Shah family goodbye, Hasmukh tells Anupama to listen to her heart while deciding what to do.

Back in their room, Vanraj questions Kavya whether she wants to go back to Anirudh but she tells him if that was the case, she would have done very long ago.

She elaborates that Anirudh understands her better, and loves her more but she doesn’t love him at all.

She further adds that Maya was wrong, she didn’t hide the truth so that Vanraj isn’t hurt but thought it was an unimportant matter.

Vanraj just tells Kavya that she did well by exposing Anuj in front of Anupama.

Meanwhile, as Samar is surprised at Anupama for not kicking out Maya, Dimpy tells that Maya is not to blame as she just wanted love.

Kinjal tells her that loving is not wrong but loving someone else’s husband is.

Dimpy tries to explain her point and Pakhi is greatly offended by her, supporting Maya.

However, Dimpy tells Pakhi to be practical as Maya will take Anu with her, and if Anu is gone, even Anuj and Anupama won’t be happy.

As the Kapadiya's drive back, Anuj notices Anupama holding back tears and feels guilty having hurt her.

On the other hand, Vanraj elaborates his point that he was truly sick of the praises Anuj got as if he was the greatest man to walk the earth.

Kavya tells him that he is wrong as Anuj is different from the rest of the cheating, lying men out there including Vanraj.

He tells her that with time, she too will figure out that Anuj was at the fault and congratulates her sarcastically that in hopes of clearing up things between Mr. and Mrs. Kapadiya, she has now successfully threatened their marriage by dropping the truth bomb.

Kavya worries that she has accidentally caused more harm than good as she hears Vanraj’s words.

Meanwhile, Dimpy continues to justify Maya but when Pakhi talks rudely to her, unable to handle a contrasting opinion, Samar gets aggravated and tells her to talk to Dimpy politely.

Pakhi tries to kick out Dimpy but Samar tells her that she can’t do so.

Pakhi insists Adhik leave along with her as she doesn’t want to be in the same room as Dimpy.

As soon as she’s about to leave, Leela comes in and warns Samar to still reconsider marrying Dimpy as she’s already starting fights while Kinjal reassures Leela that no one's fighting.

On the other hand, Anupama questions why Anuj didn’t bother telling her the truth as per their promise.

She tells him she doesn’t care if the reason he hid it was to not hurt her, but she didn’t like the way she found out the truth.

Anuj tells Anupama he won’t make any excuses because he knows he has betrayed her trust.

He adds that he didn’t do any wrong but didn’t tell her because he didn’t want to relive the sting of betrayal that she once experienced.

He apologizes and asks if she trusts him, to which she replies “more than God” while Maya burns in jealousy.
