Today's Anupama 5th May 2023 episode starts with Anupama breaking into tears on Kanta's shoulder as she sees herself in Bhairavi for a moment.

Anupama says that the pain of losing one's parents is unbearable and she wishes that no one goes through that while Kanta comforts her as she understands Anupama's feelings.

Anupama says that Bhairavi has her uncle and aunt who are ready to take care of her but no one can replace her parents which is the sad part.

At night, Anupama sees a nightmare where the scene of Bhairavi crying for her father plays repeatedly, making Anupama wake up with unstable breathing.

Anupama hears crying sounds coming from outside and gets shocked to see Bhairavi sleeping on the road near their gate with her father's clothes.

Anupama asks Bhairavi what she is doing there in such a state and where her uncle and aunt are to which Bhairavi replies that they left her after selling the small cottage.

Realizing how the little girl is left alone with no one to help or trust, Anupama takes Bhairavi's hand and asks her to come inside her house for the night.

Bhairavi replies that she does not want to take any more help from Anupama but Anupama says that it is her duty as an adult to lend a helping hand to a child.

The next morning, Anupama wakes up to notice Bhairavi missing from her bed and gets emotional when she watches Bhairavi selling vegetables like her father.

Anupama says that she does not want to make Bhairavi think that she is taking pity on her but she wants to be there with Bhairavi on her new journey.

Meanwhile, Anuj brings his shaving kit and shaves off his beard, bringing back the past Anuj who got lost amid ego and anger.

Anuj imagines Anupama complimenting and admiring him after seeing his changed look and blushes by himself while watching the clock.

Anupama gets a message from Anuj saying that he is coming back to take her to his own house from her mother's house as her wait is over.

Seeing the message, Anupama gets excited and shows Kanta and Bhavesh the message from Anuj with heavy breathing.

Kanta tells Anupama that she managed to bear the pain of separation after many tries but the pain of the hope getting broken into pieces would not be tolerable for Anupama.

Kanta asks Bhavesh to call Anuj as she wants to talk to him so that she can satisfy herself on whether Anuj is truly back or not once before celebrating.

Meanwhile, Pakhi informs everyone about Anuj returning and taking Anupama back to the Kapadia mansion which makes Vanraj and Leela lose their smiles.

Pakhi, Kavya, Kinjal, Samar, and Hasmukh get happy to hear the news and decide to prepare something special to celebrate the grand moment after so many days.

Leela says that Anuj may not come like earlier while Kavya says that they want that to happen only which shuts up Leela.

Kanta informs Anupama that she talked to Anuj and he is coming back to take Anupama with him which brings a smile to Anupama's face instantly.

Bhavesh and Kanta get busy preparing things so that they can send off Anupama grandly to her husband's house.
