Today's Anupama 6th June 2023 episode starts with Anuj and Anupama meeting each other's eyes while the Varmala is happening and getting reminded of their marriage.

Anupama remembers how she and Anuj married each other after fighting with everyone and gently wipes away her tears after coming back to the present situation.

Anuj notices Anupama looking upset on seeing the Varmala but is bound even to comfort her which makes him feel useless.

Vanraj stares at Kavya with kindness as he starts to realize how much Kavya has dedicated herself to loving and taking care of him in all these years.

Kavya smiles back at Vanraj which makes Vanraj travel to the past when he and Kavya used to be intimate lovers and could not see anything except each other.

Samar and Dimple smile at each other genuinely as they complete the first ritual of the marriage with a round of applause.

Dimple comes to her room after Varmala gets over when Kinjal comes to her and says that she should come into that house as Kinjal's sister, not sister-in-law.

Kinjal hugs Dimple as she tells her that Dimple needs to accept the Shah family as her own while Dimple internally says that she would not change her views about the Shah family.

Leela spots Meenu trying to help Bhairavi give drinks to the guests and asks Meenu to go and play while handing the tray to Bhairavi for the work.

Kanta comes and asks Bhairavi to go and play while asking Leela why she is making Bhairavi do the errands as she is also a child like Meenu.

Leela says that they should not mix an outsider with their own child which Anupama hears and tells Leela that Bhairavi is a part of their family.

Anupama asks Leela to behave well with everyone which would do well for herself but Leela asks Anupama what good she gained after she brought Maaya into her house.

Kanta says that Anupama is not a mere victim who needs Leela's sympathy and asks Leela to be happy on the occasion of Samar's wedding.

Leela says that she is unable to smile for another moment as she is not happy with the bride and the bride's family as well and would have stopped the wedding if she could.

Anupama asks Leela to talk softly but Leela gets louder and says that Anupama would leave for America but she is the one who would have to bear the trouble.

Leela walks away while criticizing the marriage while Kanta asks Anupama not to mind Leela as she is a weird type of woman devoid of any happiness.

As the marriage rituals are about to start, Leela spots those two veiled ladies and chases them in front of the guests until they get blocked by the family members.

Leela says that those ladies must be running away after stealing something and snatching away their bag to make everything from it fall to the floor.

Dimple stares at the wedding veil and ornaments and walks up to the lady to hug her tightly while she utters "Mummy Ji" with tears in her eyes making everyone realize that the lady is Dimple's mother.

Dimple's mother says that she could not stay away from her daughter's wedding and decided to come but did not know how she can show her face to Dimple.

Everyone apologizes to Dimple's mother for behaving like that while Leela tells the lady to give some manners to Dimple too so that she learns how to behave.

Samar gets his mother-in-law's blessings and Anuj asks everyone to resume the rituals as they are tight on time but Dimple's mother says that she needs to say another thing.

Dimple's mother says that even though she is the one who gave birth to Dimple, Anupama is Dimple's "Maa".
