Today's Anupama 9th June 2023 episode starts with Anuj telling Anupama that life is finally giving her what she deserves and she should be grateful for what she is getting.

Anupama smiles at Anuj warmly and tells him that she is happy with everything and will not sacrifice her chance for the sake of others this time.

Hearing that decision, Anuj smiles proudly at Anupama and tells her that he is always rooting for her and that Malti Devi seems like a genuine person with kindness in her heart.

Anupama asks Anuj how he came to that conclusion as Malti Devi comes off as a strict person at first glance.

Anuj tells Anupama that there is something in Malti Devi's eyes that give off a gentle pain and loneliness as if she wants to be loved and cared for by someone close to her.

As Anuj asks Anupama why Malti Devi addressed him in such a manner while they talked to each other for the first time, Anupama also finds it difficult to make out the reason.

Anupama says that Malti Devi might have known Anuj from earlier as his news keep on getting published in magazines and newspapers.

After Anupama leaves the room, Ankush comes and tells Anuj that it is time for them to welcome their guest and reveal the surprise.

Anupama stays beside Malti Devi and asks Nakul to sit beside Malti Devi and make themselves comfortable.

Leela watches Anupama taking care of Malti Devi and tells Dolly how Malti Devi has such a proud attitude to which Dolly replies that everyone reacts in that way toward their boss.

Leela worries about Vanraj who has suddenly started taking care of Kavya instead of Anupama while Dolly asks Leela to be happy as everyone is smiling on this occasion.

As Anupama leaves Malti Devi's side to give Kanta her medicines, Nakul says that he did not expect Malti Devi to announce such important news so suddenly.

Malti Devi says that she had decided on the matter earlier but found the opportunity to reveal it today to which Nakul says that he is dissatisfied with the result.

Nakul says that he has been raised by Malti Devi herself from his childhood and expected to get this responsibility but instead of him, Anupama is the one who got it.

Malti Devi assures Nakul that he is like her son but he is not the person to handle the responsibility as the position needs, like management skills and other needs.

However, Nakul does not seem convinced by Malti Devi's justification and glares at Anupama when she returns which Vanraj notices.

Vanraj takes care of Kavya and tells her that he is doing all that from his heart as the child belongs to both of them.

Ankush and Anuj come to the stage and announce that a special guest has arrived to bless Samar and Dimple on their wedding and give hints to everyone to guess their name.

Anuj says that their voice is like melody and all generations have vibed to it after which he grandly welcomes Kumar Sanu who enters while singing the song "Dil Hain Ki Manta Nahi".

Anupama gets reminded of her memories with Anuj on hearing that song and Anuj and Anupama hit the dance floor together as Kumar Sanu starts singing his hit songs.

However, Maaya comes in between Anuj and Anupama which stops their dance and Anuj turns away from Maaya leaving her pissed.
