Today's Anupama 9th March 2023 episode starts with Anuj and Anupama enjoying themselves with Anu and other children at the orphanage to celebrate Anupama’s birthday and asking them to gather around to cut the cake together.

All the kids happily accompany Anuj, Anupama, and Anu to cut the birthday cake together and give their best wishes to Anupama.

After the cake cutting, Anuj switches on the music for everybody to dance together and enjoy themselves.

Anu’s friends compliment her dress, hair, and clips and say how good she looks now after which Anu gives away her hair clips and says that she will invite them to her house someday.

Anuj and Anupama hear Anu’s words and tell Abhay that they wanted to bring everyone to their home but the situation there is not fit currently.

Anupama and Anuj propose that they want to take responsibility for all the costs and expenses of all the girls studying at schools and getting good clothes and food.

Abhay thanks Anuj and Anupama for their charitable mindset while Anuj explains to them that the riches should contribute the society with their assets.

Anu tells her friends about having two mothers and says that she will explain it to them later.

Meanwhile, Maaya wonders where Anuj and Anupama went along with Anu when she bumps into Ankush who asks her to recommend some business schools in London as his daughter Sarah is staying there.

Maaya tells Ankush that he should go and help Barkha in searching her room as these tactics have become quite old these days and do not work anymore.

Barkha searches around Maaya’s room but does not find anything useful which could act as a clue.

At the same time, Leela tells Kinjal that she is sure that Maaya did not want that one day to celebrate Anupama’s birthday but to plan something against them in secret.

Coming back to Anuj and Anupama, they go to the beach along with Anu and run through the sandy shore together while enjoying the breeze and waves.

Anuj and Anupama hold onto Anu’s hands and lift her in the air while the wave arrives as Anu gets scared that she will be washed away by the waves.

Anupama tells Anu that no waves are strong enough to wash her away from them as they are strongly bonded with each other.

Anuj, Anupama, and Anu write their names on the sand but they get erased by the waves before they click a picture so Anupama writes again digging deeper with a seashell that does not get washed away after getting hit by the waves.

While Anu makes her sandcastles after taking photos of all of them together, Anuj and Anupama reminisce about how they came to Mumbai for the first time and met Anu.

Anupama says that she feels that she has got more memories than she missed when Anu’s picnic took place.

Anuj makes a confession with a serious tone that he loves someone else more than Anupama, but Anupama predicts that it is Anu and tells him that she knows that already.

Anupama gets tensed as Anuj asks her if Anu will be with them forever and both hug each other while watching Anu enjoy building sandcastles.
