Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 12th February 2023 episode starts with Rano yelling that Rishi has taken Lakshmi's responsibility.

Karishma sarcastically remarks that Rishi has done charity by bringing Lakshmi as Lakshmi was not getting any food in Bajwa's house.

Neelam orders Soniya and Karishma to stop arguing with Rano because if they throw stones in the mud, their clothes will only get dirty.

On the other hand, in Malishka’s home, Kiran tells Malishka that Rishi will marry her very soon to which  Malishka replies that she knows Lakshmi will again try to trap Rishi.

In the Oberoi mansion, Rano informs Neelam that she is sure the whole Oberoi family has blackmailed Lakshmi to elope.

As everyone starts yelling at each other, Rishi arrives there to stop and tells Rano that no one is at fault now.

Rishi even promises to arrange Lakshmi’s wedding with a deserving groom very soon and Rano says that she does not know why she cannot get angry at Rishi any time.

Turning to Karishma, Rishi announces that he has called the matchmaker today for Lakshmi.

Later, Lakshmi is thinking about Rishi’s words when Shalu walks in and reveals that Rishi has called a matchmaker for her.

Shalu tells Lakshmi that she knows Lakshmi is unhappy with this news to which Lakshmi replies that she does not want to get married.

Shalu gets happy upon hearing this and announces that Lakshmi loves Rishi but Lakshmi reveals that nothing has remained in Rishi and her relationship.

Rishi overhears this from the doorway and gets hurt.

Rishi tells Lakshmi that he has called a matchmaker today who will give Lakshmi a wide range of boys to choose from so very soon, Lakshmi will leave the house with fake enthusiasm in his voice.

He walks away after stating that he will do Lakshmi’s bidai.

Afterward, in his room, Rishi is contemplating whether he is in love with Lakshmi or not as Lakshmi’s words hurt him the most and he cannot bear the thought of losing her.

He reminds himself that he loves Malishka when Ayush arrives there.

Ayush makes Rishi understand that he loves Lakshmi as both of them can go to any length for their happiness.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi tells Shalu that she does not know what relationship she has with Rishi but she does not love him.

Shalu states that this is love only when Lakshmi says that if this was love, then they would not have separated.

On the other hand, entering Rishi’s room, Virendra also tells Rishi that he is in love with Lakshmi.

However, both Lakshmi and Rishi start giving characteristics of friendship to Shalu and Virendra.

Once Rishi is done talking, Virendra reveals that one cannot love forcefully, similarly one cannot make another person realize his love.

On the other hand, Balwinder grabs Kamli’s as she plays the widow of Lakshmi threatening to send Balwinder to jail if something happens to Kamli.

Looking at the mirror, Balwinder says that he will destroy Lakshmi and Rishi’s lives.

Meanwhile, in Oberoi's mansion, Rishi tells Ayush that he thinks he loves Malishka, and that's it.

He also tells him that the matchmaker has arrived and Ayush walks away.

After Ayush walks away, Rishi tells himself that it does not matter what he feels, he knows Lakshmi does not love him whereas Lakshmi pleads with Shalu to stop perusing her as she just wants to leave Rishi’s life.
