Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 12th October 2023 episode starts with Malishka begging Rishi not to say things like that and think about her while Rishi tells her to forget him and move on in her life. 

After issuing the wedding invitation, Rishi leaves while Malishka complains to everyone about why do they not care about her and why they always think about Lakshmi.

Virendra tells Malishka that she should forget Rishi because three lives will be ruined if she marries Rishi. 

Meanwhile, Dadi expresses sadness at Neelam's attitude at the time of Rishi’s marriage and how they can’t be completely happy with the good news. 

On the other hand, Bani and Shalu come to Lakshmi praising her beauty and telling her not to feel worried as everyone will accept her with time.

Elsewhere, Malishka comes to Neelam and going on her knees reminds her that she has promised to marry her to Rishi so she should fulfill her promise. 

She tells her that she came into this house at her behest and is assured that she will get Rishi back and marry him to her. 

Neelam tells her that she knows that she has promised her many things and is afraid that she cannot fulfill them. 

However, Malishka is not ready to listen to any excuse and tells Karishma and Neelam that she does not care about Lakshmi or what they do to her but she wants her Rishi back with her. 

In the meantime, Lakshmi calls Rishi to find out whether everyone will attend their marriage but Rishi tells her that Neelam and Karishma are still upset. 

Ayush tells Rishi not to worry about anything right now and only focus on getting married. 

However, Rishi tells him that without Neelam’s blessings, he does not feel it right to go ahead with the wedding.

On the other hand, Sonal tries to stop Malishka from talking about killing while Malishka tells her that she is done with all the efforts and it is time that they get results. 

She threatens Neelam saying that if she cannot bring her to this house as a bride then she will have to send her as a corpse. 

Meanwhile, Laksmi tells Shalu and Bani that Rishi and Neelam are going to be apart forever and she feels responsible for it. 

However, Shalu and Bani tell her that it is not her fault but Neelam’s fault that forced Rishi to choose between her and his mother. 

Lakshmi tells them that she doesn’t feel right marrying Rishi without his mother’s blessing. 

Meanwhile, Karishma tells Neelam that Malishka is being silly because of her grief and asks her if there is something that they can do about Rishi and Lakshmi’s marriage. 

At the same time, Sonal tries to calm Malishka and tells her that she should not lose hope and that everything will turn in her favor. 

In the meantime, Lakshmi calls Virendra to remind him that he is supposed to perform her Kanyadaan. 

Virendra assures her that they will come and give their blessings to her. 

Afterward, he tells Harleen and Aayush that he will have to talk to Neelam to make her give her blessings to Rishi and Lakshmi.

Meanwhile, Sonal tells Malishka that now is the time to go ahead with the plan to stop this marriage, or else what she is dreading will become her reality. 

Just then, Kiran also comes there and is shocked to hear that Rishi is marrying Lakshmi. 

On hearing that Neelam or anyone else did nothing, she walks out of the room to talk to Neelam.

On the other hand, Rano comes to Lakshmi and presents her gold bangles, telling her that she has done many wrong things in the past but now she wants to rectify her mistake and wants to see her happy.
