Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 13th May 2023 episode starts with Virendra curiously asking Vikrant's father about Vikrant's brother and Anjana replies that he will join them at the time of the wedding.

Soon after that, Anjana excitedly tells Neelam that now they should fix the date of the engagement ceremony, as other functions' dates will depend on it.

However, Rano gets delighted while saying that they have to start the preparations as soon as possible.

On the other hand, Saloni compliments Malishka's look and, then also compliments Rishi and Lakshmi's kind and caring nature.

However, Malishka gets sour after hearing Lakshmi's name, but Just then, Saloni makes Malishka uncomfortable by asking her the reason for Rishi and Lakshmi's divorce.

Malishka gets baffled due to the unexpected question and starts stuttering, but then Malishka heaves a sigh of relief as Saloni excuses her while responding to Anjana.

On the other hand, Ayush and Rishi walk downstairs and, Bani and Shalu surround Ayush while asking about how can they stop the marriage now.

Since Ayush calmly replies to them to be at ease and just go with the flow, Shalu and Bani look at him unbelievably.

Shalu is about to say something but Neha asks Ayush's company during shopping and Shalu gets irritated as Ayush agrees with her.

Meanwhile, Malishka worriedly tells Rishi about Saloni's question, while Rishi is looking at Lakshmi, who is walking out from the temple.

On the other hand, Vikrant supports Harleen to walk while Lakshmi follows them, but just then, Rishi notices Lakshmi's pallu has caught fire.

Since Rishi screams Lakshmi's name while rushing to her, everyone looks at Lakshmi and gets shocked after seeing the fire in her pallu.

However, Vikrant tries to blow out the fire while Rishi tears out the pallu and throws it away.

Further, Rishi starts shouting and scolding Vikrant by calling him irresponsible and careless and saying that he doesn't deserve Lakshmi.

Neelam, Karishma, and Malishka get fretful about Rishi's behavior while thinking that Vikrant may refuse to marry Lakshmi.

Vice versa, Shalu and Bani get excited by thinking that now Vikrat will retort heatedly and will deny marrying Lakshmi.

However, Vikrant wins everyone's hearts by calmly asking for an apology and promises that he will always take care of Lakshmi.

Harleen praises Rishi for his mature behavior, and Virendra tells him that it was not his mistake while pointing at Rishi's overreacting behavior.

In the meantime, Malishka mutters that if the same thing could have happened to her then by that time she would have destroyed everything.

After that, Rano calls Lakshmi 'lucky' for getting Vikrant as her life partner and tells her to change her clothes.

Lakshmi leaves while staring at Rishi while Karishma apologizes to Vikrant on behalf of Rishi.

Later, Rishi genuinely apologizes to Vikrant to which Vikrant replies that didn't feel bad while hugging him.

Soon after that, Neelam asks Virendra if he is happy now, as she has chosen the best groom for 'his Lakshmi' while Virendra replies that he only wants that Vikrant keeps her daughter happy always.

Meanwhile, in Lakshmi's room, Lakshmi gets worried by Rishi's caring behavior for her and mutters that she has to stop Rishi or else his behavior may create misunderstandings.

On the other side, Ayush also makes Rishi understand that Rishi is Lakshmi's friend while Vikrant is her fiance, and Ayush leaves there while saying that now Rishi should let Vikrant, take care of Lakshmi. 

Later, Shalu comes to Lakshmi's room and asks her if she is ok while being concerned for her.

Since Shalu hopes for the huge arguments between Rishi and Vikrant, Lakshmi gets upset with Shalu.

However, Shalu diverts Lakshmi's attention toward the fact that Rishi still loves her so much.
