Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 14th May 2023 episode starts with Shalu agreeing to walk downstairs with Lakshmi.

On the other hand, Ayush gets excited as Bani tells him that Rano and Neha are left there.

Soon after that, Vikrant requests Rishi to help him with the wedding designer as his designer went abroad.

Rishi agrees to help Vikrant by saying that he will send his designer's contacts so Vikrant can talk with them.

After a while, Saloni hesitantly asks Neelam that 'the roka ceremony' is already over and asks her permission for Lakshmi to spend some alone time with Vikrant.

Neelam laughs while replying that there is no need for her permission as after all, it's Lakshmi and Vikrant's day and they can celebrate as they want.

Just after that, Vikrant tells Rishi that Rishi can go with them as he is concerned about Lakshmi, and Rishi apologizes to Vikrant by thinking that Vikrant is still upset with him.

However, Vikrant says that he is not upset with Rishi rather he is just asking genuinely while Malishka meddles by saying that they have their plans for the day.

Later, in Rishi's room, Rishi worriedly thinks about the frequently happening accidents in Lakshmi's life and gets stressed out.

In the meantime, Neelam thanks Malishka for going out singly with Rishi rather than with Vikrant and Lakshmi while Malishka cheerfully replies that she did it to participate in the best couple championship at some hotel.

However, Neelam warns Malishka to keep Rishi away from Lakshmi while Karishma tries to calm down Neelam and tells her that she should behave panicked or else, people will get doubtful.

Soon after that, Malishka enters Rishi's room and gets upset as Rishi has not been ready yet.

As Malishka insists on Rishi to going out with her,  Rishi agrees with her.

Later, at Vikrant's house, Anjana looks at the worried face of Saloni and asks her a reason while Saloni hesitantly replies that she didn't like Rishi's rude behavior with Vikrant.

Since Anjana tries to ignore it by saying that Rishi got scared after seeing the fire, Saloni drags Anjana's attention toward Rishi's over possessiveness for Lakshmi.

Saloni curiously asks Anjana to think about Rishi and Lakshmi's relationship, and for a while, Anjana also gets doubtful but then she changes the topic while saying that she trusts the Oberoi family.

Later, in the car, Vikrat tries to have a conversation with Lakshmi but the situation gets awkward as he asks Lakshmi if had the same less talkative behavior, when she was with Rishi.

However, Vikrant realizes that he messed up the conversation and apologizes to Lakshmi while stopping the car immediately.

As Vikrant steps down the car, Lakshmi asks what happened but Vikrant says that he has some work to do.

Soon after that, Vikrant returns and tells Lakshmi that he got a surprise for her while asking her to guess it.

On the other hand, Lakshmi recalls the time when Rishi got a surprise for her and asked the same question.

In flashback, the environment gets funny and cheerful as Lakshmi keeps guessing the things like Vada-pav, Gulabjamun, the saree, and finally a screwdriver to Rishi's surprise.

Finally, Lakshmi gets happy by knowing that Rishi had a 'Gajra' for her and Rishi puts the 'Gajra' in her hair as Lakshmi doesn't know how to put it.

At present, Lakshmi stays still and looks cold after seeing that Vikrant's surprise is also a 'Gajra' to which Vikrant asks her if she doesn't like it.

Lakshmi takes the Gajra and tries to put it in her hair but the Gajra slips from her hand and falls.

However, Lakshmi gets stunned as Vikrant asks her permission to put the 'Gajra' in her hair.
