Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 16th March 2023 episode starts with Rishi’s inner voice making him think back that he brought back Lakshmi into the house as he loved Lakshmi.

His inner voice tells him that he has never wanted Lakshmi to take a wrong decision by marrying Balwinder, to which Rishi says that was not love but care and concern.

His heart argues back that the reason was care and concern along with love and states that he loves Lakshmi.

The voice again questions his act of not marrying Malishka and bringing her to his house even after he has divorced Lakshmi.

He is always ready to lose his life for the sake of Lakshmi yet gets angry with Lakshmi when she endangers her life for his sake, asserting that he does this because he loves Lakshmi.

He has even said on several occasions he finds Lakshmi so beautiful that he wishes to marry her.

The Priest also agrees that if his love for Lakshmi is genuine she will always be by his side which is why she has not gone into a coma.

He feels happy when she is happy and sad when she is sad.

He has also fought with his mother for Lakshmi’s sake and the incident where he is ready to give his heartbeat in order to keep her alive.

Rishi’s heart makes him recollect all these instances and requests him to understand his inner feelings to which Rishi remembers all the good moments spent with Lakshmi and realises that he really loves Lakshmi. 

He confesses to his heart, to himself saying that he loves Lakshmi. 

He feels one with his heart and screams out aloud proclaiming that he indeed loves  Lakshmi.

Later, Rishi returns back to the hospital and peeps into Lakshmi’s room to confess his love to her, but hesitates and feels confused as to how he will speak out in front of her.

Elsewhere in the car, the Oberoi family is on their way to the last hospital, hoping that it is the one that has Rishi and Lakshmi

Virendra is worried that Lakshmi is in a critical condition.

Bani and Shalu are also discussing the same when Chachi calls them, enquiring about Lakshmi.

In Lakshmi’s room, Rishi gently holds her hand and asks if she feels better.

He then tells her that he has been meaning to confess something and that he is already late in doing so.

Upon seeing Lakshmi’s bewildered expression, Rishi tells her that whatever he will say next are the words coming out of his very own heart.

Meanwhile, Malishka has reached the hospital and heads towards the room where Lakshmi is admitted, having asked the receptionist.

On the other hand, Balwinder reaches Rano's house and asks for his money, entering into a brawl over money.

Rano tells him about Lakhmi getting hurt in the fire which broke out in the hotel, making Balwinder vow to get married to Lakshmi at any cost.

Balwinder calls Malishka to ask about Lakshmi’s whereabouts but she gets irritated and says that she does not know about Lakshmi.

In the ICU room, Rishi opens up to Lakshmi saying that it is the mercy of Matarani that she has finally gained consciousness.

He continues, saying that he is feeling nervous about saying what he wanted to say but finally says that he has realized who he was really in love with and tells Lakshmi that he was in love with her.
