Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 16th May 2023 episode starts with the couples showing the game co-ordinator the opened knots while everyone cheers for them. 

At last, Lakshmi and Vikrant untie the knot too, making Malishka happy that she will have Lakshmi to beat in the end. 

Elsewhere, Aayush asks Karishma why did she say about Lakshmi dying. 

Meanwhile, Neelam looks worried at being exposed and tells Aayush that there is nothing to worry about as Karishma was not saying anything important. 

However, Aayush tells her that he cannot let go of this matter as it concerns Lakshmi and insist Karishma tell the truth. 

Karishma gets irritated and tells him that she was only asking Neelam if Lakshmi will live as she has been through so much and if she will survive the next similar attack. 

Elsewhere, Rano is bragging on the phone about Vikrant and telling her friend that she is luckier than Lakshmi to land a rich son-in-law.

Just then, Mukesh comes home bearing gifts and Rano becomes happy to see him. 

On the other hand, Aayush feels relieved hearing Karishma’s explanation and tells her to not worry as nothing will happen to Lakshmi because she is very lucky. 

In the meantime, Malishka tells Rishi to play like this as she wants to win the game. 

After a while, the game coordinator explains the rule of the next round. 

She tells them that all their male partners will go inside and return later while female partners will have to recognize their partner by identifying their heart connection. 

Malishka asks Lakshmi if she will be able to identify Vikrant as they have spent so little time with each other. 

In the meantime, Mukesh tells Rano that Dadi (Harleen) has sent the gifts to them for the ceremony. 

Bani offers to make tea for Mukesh but he takes their leave refusing it. 

Afterward, Rano is overjoyed to see so much jewellery and gifts and tells Bani that this is part of society's rituals which she will not understand. 

Just then, Rano gets a call from Harleen and cannot control her excitement while thanking her for the gifts. 

Elsewhere, all the male partners come out wearing Saree and shrouded in a veil. 

Everyone jokes about the get-up while the coordinator tells the participants that sometimes reversing the role keeps the relationship fresh and spicy. 

She also tells them that they will have to identify their partner using their heart connection as nothing else is visible to give them a hint. 

Meanwhile, Vikrant asks Rishi if he thinks Lakshmi will be able to find him while Rishi assures him that Lakshmi listens to her heart and will surely recognize him. 

At the same time, Malishka is worried about losing the round to Lakshmi as she cannot guess who Rishi is. 

In the meantime, the other two participants fight over one person claiming him to be their partner. 

The coordinator tells others to keep their veil and tells the disputed one to uncover his face. 

One of them wins while the other contestant loses, leaving Lakshmi and Malishka, and three people to guess from. 

After a while, Malishka thinks of using Lakshmi to find Rishi and pushes Lakshmi forward knowing too well that Rishi will catch her. 

As expected, Rishi falls right into Malishka’s trap and she easily identifies Rishi. 

After a while, Lakshmi also selects Vikrant and moves to the next round. 

Afterward, the coordinator tells the remaining participants that now the male partners will be tested and they will have to recognize their female partners. 

She tells the female partners to take off their footwear which they will hide and the male partners will have to find them and bring them to their respective partners. 

Afterward, the coordinator tells the girls to tie a blindfold to each other's partners.
