Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 17th October 2023 episode starts with Malishka imagining how her wedding night with Rishi would have gone while on the other hand, Rishi brings turmeric milk for Lakshmi and hands a glass to her.

Malishka imagines her wedding night playing out in front of her while Rishi is spending his wedding night with Lakshmi in reality.

Sonal feels pity for Malishka and holds back her words as she continues watching Malishka.

Rishi tells Lakshmi to drink the turmeric milk as it's a tradition and says that he forgot the most typical thing about wedding night and slowly removes her veil she looks away from him shyly.

He smiles at her and holds her hand calling her beautiful while she gets flustered by him bringing his face closer to her.

He states that he still cannot imagine that they are this close to each other and kisses her hand telling her that he loves her.

Lakshmi finally looks up and smiles at him as they continue looking at each other fondly.

Malishka cries that the bride who is waiting for Rishi and whom Rishi is going to spend the night with is not her but Lakshmi.

Rishi and Lakshmi hug each other while Sonal tries to calm Malishka who says that Lakshmi is everywhere with Rishi and has a breakdown.

Lakshmi feels grateful

Later, Rishi and Lakshmi are back on the ground in their normal sleeping place and he asks her if she's happy that they are finally married.

He tells her that he had to be punished till now by being away from her for divorcing her and hurting her heart.

Lakshmi tells him to not speak like that and says that sometimes their fate does not help them.

She starts talking about feeling bad about Neelam while Rishi tells her that he knows Neelam is upset with him.

He tells her that he is sure Neelam will forgive him soon and they will be back in the Oberoi house leaving their dream life together with the family.

Rishi tells her that they should think about something else and asks her if she's thinking about the next day's cooking or else.

He gives her the hint telling her that Aayush made Shalu and Bani leave for some reason and tells her that it is their wedding night.

She gets hesitant while he understands her and changes the topic saying that they should go to sleep as they are very tired.

Lakshmi feels grateful and thanks him for understanding her while he tells her that he wants her to stay with him forever.

He tells her that just her being with him is enough and kisses her forehead telling her that they have their whole lives ahead of them for other things.

Meanwhile, at the Oberoi mansion, Virender tells Neelam how Rishi and Lakshmi were looking like their shadows when they were getting married.

Neelam states that Lakshmi is not her shadow making Virender ask her why she hates her so much.

Malishka turns vengeful

Neelam reasons that she hates Lakshmi for the same reason that Virender loves her and says that she would not have voiced out her hatred if Lakshmi had not taken away Rishi from her.

Back at Malishka's house, Malishka tells Sonia that she will take revenge on Rishi and Lakshmi now as she states that since Rishi is not hers, she will not let him be anyone else's.

Sonal asks her what she's trying to say while Malishka tells her that she's thinking right and leaves.

Virender tells Neelam that it is good Lakshmi is not Neelam's shadow as Lakshmi can never hate anyone like her.

He tries to explain to her that Lakshmi even refused the marriage while Neelam shouts that she does not wish to hear Lakshmi's praises.

Sonal asks Malishka if she's going to kill Rishi while Malishka agrees stating that she can not let Rishi and Lakshmi live together so she will kill both of them.

At Rishi's home, they both look at each other unable to sleep as they talk to each other through their eyes.

Sonal asks Malishka how can she kill Rishi while Malishka states that if he cannot be with her, he cannot be with anyone else.

She looks at her hands and states that she is going to do this good deed by her own hands which Rishi held and promised to stay his whole life with her.

Sonal tries to calm her while Malishka states that Rishi humiliated her in front of the whole world by leaving her at the altar and proposing to Lakshmi.

Lakshmi holds Rishi's hand and they go to sleep with the promise of starting a new life from the next day.
