Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 17th September 2023 episode starts with Sonal thinking about the events going on currently and criticizing the Oberoi family about their decisions.

Sonia comes there and asks where Malishka is to which Sonal replies that Malishka has gone outside with Kiran which shocks Sonia.

Sonal tells Sonia to understand Malishka's condition and informs her about Vikrant kidnapping Lakshmi to which Sonia says that she does not care about Lakshmi at all.

Sonia says that they need to prepone the wedding and do it the next day per Malishka's happiness but Sonal replies that Neelam needs to be convinced first.

Meanwhile, the family members return home and Dadi asks Rishi and Lakshmi to go to their room to rest but Ayush stops everyone and says that he needs to ask something.

Turning to Malishka, Ayush says that he wants to question her regarding something while Kiran gets defensive and asks Ayush if he is trusting that criminal Vikrant's words over Malishka's.

Ayush says that he does not trust Vikrant at all but wants to clear his doubt after which he asks Malishka what she was doing in that location.

Neelam asks Ayush to stay within his limits but Ayush says that he is sure that he held Malishka's hands when the room was filled with smoke as the woman did not make a single sound.

Ayush says that Malishka would have been busted if she said a word that makes Kiran angry and she asks Karishma to stop Ayush from spouting nonsense.

Ayush asks Malishka if she can prove that she was not there with them which makes Malishka reverse the question and she asks him if he can prove that she was there.

As Ayush brings up the fact about how Kiran came to know about the location, Kiran says that Sonal informed her after which Sonal comes downstairs and says that she heard Virendra and others talking earlier.

Ayush questions why Kiran was outside and interrogates them about Malishka's clothes but Kiran plays the emotional card and says that no one in the Oberoi family cares about her daughter.

Kiran says that Malishka sneaked out of the house in such clothes so that Kiran could not find her but Kuran succeeded in finding Malishka and went to the location as Malishka was worried about Rishi.

The discussion ends there with Neelam warning Ayush to stop and Karishma comes to her room to talk about the marriage being done the next day.

Virendra says that such a hurry is not needed with Neelam agreeing with him but after Karishma leaves, Neelam says that she will never accept Lakshmi as Rishi's wife.

At the same time, Ayush comes to Rano's house to drop off Bani and Shalu and informs Rano about Lakshmi being fine but his mood seems to be down due to the earlier discussion.

Bani and Shalu say that they need to plan something to stop Rishi and Malishka's wedding with Ayush agreeing with them.

Elsewhere, Rishi asks Lakshmi if she is all right and blames himself for being so late but Lakshmi tells Rishi that he should have left after completing the ring ceremony.

Lakshmi says that she becomes bad for the others the more Rishi tries to come close to her which leaves Rishi shocked as Lakshmi asks him to stay away from her.
