Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 18th May 2023 episode starts with Lakshmi getting awkward as Vikrant asks her to go to his home.

Since Lakshmi denies him humbly, Vikrant understands her and drives her to Oberoi's house.

On the other hand, Rishi waits for Lakshmi outside the Oberoi House which irritates Malishka and she leaves inside while bad-mouthing Lakshmi.

Just then, Vikrant drops Lakshmi at the gate while Rishi asks him to come inside but Vikrant leaves by saying that he is getting late.

After that, Rishi walks Lakshmi inside and says that it's been long since they walked together like this.

However, as soon as they enter the house, Malishka blocks the door and gets furious while saying that they are entering like a husband-wife, together.

Rishi warns Malishka to behave and tells her to get aside from the door.

Just then, Neelam rushes toward Rishi and caresses his face, after seeing him alright.

As Neelam notices that Rishi has walked in with Lakshmi rather than Malishka, she gets upset.

Neelam asks Malishka and Lakshmi to leave there she wants to talk with Rishi alone.

Soon after that, Neelam tries to make Rishi understand that he should let Vikrant take care of Lakshmi's happiness as he is going to become his life partner.

Further, she tells Rishi that if he wants Lakshmi to be happy, then he should stay away from her or else, one day may doubt her relationship with Rishi.

Rishi nods at Neelam while being aware that he won't be able to follow Neelam's words.

However, Neelam tries to tell Rishi that if he has taken responsibility for giving new happy life to Lakshmi, then he should keep his word but, suddenly, Rishi gets emotional and leaves for his room.

Karishma walks to Neelam and complains about Rishi's behavior toward Malishka to which Neelam angrily replies that Malishka should learn to control Rishi rather than being upset so frequently.

Karishma gets surprised by Neelam's furious attitude and she tells Neelam to indoctrinate Rishi strictly to stay away from Lakshmi while saying that Lakshmi's misfortune may risk Rishi's life.

In Rishi's room, Rishi recalls Neelam's words and nods as he is being agreed with them.

Rishi worriedly mutters that Lakshmi has done so much for the Oberoi family and he will never let her down.

Further, Rishi says that he loves Lakshmi so much and will never snatch her happiness while deciding that from now on, he will stay away from her.

Later, in the morning, Lakshmi's finger gets trapped between the wardrobe doors and she whines in pain.

Rishi sees that while passing by and worriedly rushes to her but suddenly, he turns around while muttering that he will keep his distance from Lakshmi.

Rishi runs to Ayush's room and finds an ointment while trying to wake Ayush up.

Since Ayush doesn't wake up upon calling, Rishi throws water on his face.

Ayush wakes up while shouting Tsunami and jumps on Rishi to save himself.

Soon after that, Ayush comes to his senses and argues with Rishi for his behavior but then gets worried as Rishi gives him an ointment saying that Lakshmi is injured and needs it.

Ayush tries to ask Rishi why he can't give the ointment to Lakshmi but, without listening to Ayush, Rishi pushes Ayush out of the room.

As soon as Ayush puts ointment on Lakshmi's finger, he tells Lakshmi that rather than coming himself, Rishi has sent him to put the Ointment.

Later, Rishi asks Ayush if Lakshmi is alright and Ayush tells him that she is ok now.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi thinks that Neelam must have made Rishi understand that Rishi should stay away from her.
