Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 19th May 2023 episode starts with Anjana worriedly asking Vikrant if he is still busy at work instead of going to buy an engagement ring.

Vikrant calls Lakshmi

Vikrant replies that he will go in his free time but Anjana says that he has to go with Lakshmi.

On the other hand, on call, Neelam cautiously tells Panditji that she can't meet him at home and asks him to meet outside.

Soon after that, Neelam gets a call from Vikrant, asking for Neelam's permission to take Lakshmi out shopping for an engagement ring.

Neelam tells Vikrant he doesn't need to take her permission every time as he can decide his plans by talking with Lakshmi.

However, Vikrant tells Neelam that Lakshmi won't like it so he keeps asking for her permission.

Later, in Lakshmi's room, she gets a call from Vikrant and she emotionally looks at her old engagement ring, when Vikrant asks her to go on shopping for an engagement ring.

Lakshmi agrees with Vikrant as he tells Lakshmi that he has already taken Neelam's permission.

After a while, Lakshmi walks into the kitchen while Karishma comes there and taunts Lakshmi, if Rishi is not wandering around Lakshmi, it means he must be in his room.

Karishma insists Lakshmi throw Rishi's Mangal Sutra

However, Lakshmi hesitantly looks at the main gate so Karishma asks if she is going out to which Lakshmi tells her that she is going out to buy an engagement ring.

Karishma looks at the old engagement ring on Lakshmi's finger and the mangal sutra on her neck and suddenly holds Lakshmi's hand and drags her into her room.

Elsewhere, Bani looks emotionally at her photo with Shalu and Lakshmi and just then, Shalu notices Bani.

Shalu gets irritated and says that Lakshmi always received responsibilities instead of happiness and now when finally she thought that Lakshmi will be happy with Rishi, their relationship is having a sad ending.

Tears roll down from Bani's eyes when Shalu furiously says why God has written Lakshmi's 'Bhagya' full of pain and sadness.

On the other hand, Karishma makes Lakshmi stand in front of the mirror and asks her if she can find any unwanted things.

Since Lakshmi innocently replies no, Karishma gets angry with Lakshmi and tells her to remove her bangle and Mangal sutra.

Lakshmi gets stunned and keeps looking at Karishma.

Karishma tells her to hurry up while firmly saying that she is not Rishi's wife anymore and she should be done it when she got divorced.

Since Lakshmi slowly removes the bangles, Karishma warns Lakshmi to speed up after which she gets a call.

Soon after that, Karishma hangs up the call while warning the listener to complete the work without any mistakes.

Just then, Karishma gets Anjana's call in line and she assures Anjana that Lakshmi has removed the bangles and the mangalsutra.

However, Rishi overhears it while passing by and mutters that they can tell Lakshmi wisely rather than making an issue.

Since Rishi notices that he has forgotten his phone, he walks toward his room but pauses at Lakshmi's door.

Lakshmi takes out the mangal sutra

In the meantime, Lakshmi gets tearful eyes while removing the mangal sutra, as she can't even dare to think about it.

Finally, Lakshmi removes the mangal sutra and cries her heart out while holding it near her heart.

On the other side, Rishi watches it and cries aloud, hiding behind the wall.

As Rishi can't take it anymore, he runs through the corridor while tears keep streaming from his eyes.

Rishi bumps into Ayush while running and Ayush gets frightened by seeing Rishi's condition, and worriedly asks about what happened.

Since Ayush wipes Rishi's tears, Rishi tells him that he has always taken things too casually.

He tells Aayush that he saw Lakshmi, taking out her Mangalsutra and cannot unsee it.  

Further, Rishi says that he felt that someone is taking out a part of his body and his heart is scattered into pieces.

Ayush gets tearful and tells Rishi that it means Rishi loves Lakshmi so much, and he will never be able to marry her to another person.

However, Rishi leaves there without uttering a word.
