Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 1st September 2023 episode starts with Karishma lashing out at Harleen for stopping Lakshmi from leaving the house which directly or indirectly suggests that she is letting Neelam go instead of Lakshmi.

Sonia tries to demean Harleen by saying that she isn’t realising Neelam’s efforts.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi begs Harleen to leave her hand and let her go as she doesn’t want Neelam to give up her peace because of her but Neelam refuses her and says she doesn’t want any favour from her.

Virendra asks Neelam to calm down, followed by Rishi who asks her not to leave the house but Neelam doesn’t even care about their words and commands the servant to bring her bags.

Shalu herself rushes to her in order to stop her and Ayush kneels down and begs Neelam not to exit.

However, Neelam makes her way to the door and glares at Lakshmi with her red teary eyes, blaming her in her mind for everything’s that happening while Harleen stares at Neelam leaving.

Malishka panics when Neelam leaves and goes aside running here and there since she was the only one who could have helped her in marrying Rishi and now that she has left, Rishi has full freedom to do anything.

Just then, she receives Sonal’s call who excitedly starts questioning her about Rishi throwing Lakshmi out of the house to make Neelam stay when Malishka informs her that Neelam left the house instead.

Sonal asks Malishka if she’s dreaming when Malishka gets shocked and immediately realises that nothing happened like this yet and that she was daydreaming about the worst to happen.

Further, Malishka goes back to the living room when she witnesses the argument still going on between Sonia, Karishma and Virendra where Karishma keeps calling Lakshmi a negative omen.

Shalu defends Lakshmi when Ayush also voices his support while Sonia speaks ill about Lakshmi while Rishi rebukes her and warns her to stop.

Lakshmi yells at Rishi, seeing him madly rebuking Sonia and begs in front of everyone to let her go since everything is happening because of her.

She softly pulls her hand from Halreen’s grip and folds her hand in front of everyone especially Neelam asking for an apology when Neelam stops her and asks Virendra and Harleen for their answers.

Virendra tells Neelam not to leave while Harleen announces that she can’t let injustice happen with Lakshmi, breaking Neelam’s heart and she starts moving towards the door to leave the house.

However, Harleen holds Neelam’s hand and tells her that she’s her daughter too and she can’t let anything wrong happen either to Lakshmi or Neelam.

She tells the servant to do as she instructed him, making everyone curious about it while Mukesh brings her suitcase which shocks everyone.

Rishi questions her if she’s leaving the house when Harleen agrees and says that she’s going with Neelam, Neelam’s voice stumbles and she starts requesting her not to leave.

Harleen expresses her maternal love and tells Neelam that she’ll go with her no matter what while Neelam with a trembling voice refuses her that she’s not leaving the house.

She mentions that she can’t let Harleen give up her peace and agrees to tolerate whatever happens next in this house, concluding by hugging Harleen tightly.

Further, Neelam apologises to Harleen for hurting her with her decision to leave the house while Harleen smiles at her with her teary eyes and that’s when Virendra tells Lakshmi that now she’s also staying.

Later, Neelam puts forth a condition in front of Harleen and says that in future if she gets hurt by Lakshmi then she’ll throw her out of the house and Harleen won’t intervene in it and Harleen agrees to her condition.
