Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 20th March 2023 episode starts with Malishka coming back to her house with irritation.

Kiran asks what happened to her and Malishka explains everything to her.

After hearing this, Kiran instead of supporting Malishka, advises her that she should have saved Rishi.

Malishka asks Kiran to stop supporting Lakshmi which she has been hearing the whole day.

Kiran is anxious that Lakshmi has won Rishi's heart and fears that Rishi might break his engagement with Malishka for real to be with Lakshmi.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lakshmi wakes up as she feels dizzy and Rishi wakes up too as she asks him to repeat what he said earlier.

When he denies it, Lakshmi asks whether he spoke from his heart.

Rishi then again confesses his love which he thinks Lakshmi might accept just like he dreamt earlier.

However, Lakshmi asks Rishi never to speak such words again or else she will slap him and might leave him.

Rishi suddenly wakes up and this time for real and understands that it was again a dream and blames himself for the confession.

He decides never to confess as he doesn't want Lakshmi to leave him.

On the other hand, Rano comes to the kitchen and is surprised to see Shalu and Bani have woken up early.

They are ready with Rishi's breakfast because he ate hospital canteen food the other day.

Rano asks them to make a call when they reach him as she wants to talk with Lakshmi herself.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi wakes up feeling dizziness in her head and remembers the fire incident but nothing after that.

The nurse enters and thinks that Lakshmi and Rishi should be husband and wife because they take care of each other.

The nurse takes Lakshmi to the doctor's cabin where he informs her about damage to her brain cells.

He says on a sad note that Lakshmi will be facing short-term memory loss, explaining that it will cause her to forget little things in her life.

Meanwhile, Kiran asks Malishka cook to make a cup of morning tea for her when suddenly Malishka seems to go somewhere.

When she asks her, Malishka says that she has found a way due to which Rishi and her marriage will definitely happen.

At the same time, Shalu, Ayush, and Bani enter the cabin and find Lakshmi missing and Rishi sleeping.

They think that Lakshmi might have gone for a check up and Rishi is unaware of it.

Due to their loud conversation, Rishi wakes up and finds Lakshmi nowhere.

At that time, Lakshmi enters as Rishi hugs her. Rishi thinks that Lakshmi might have accepted his confession.

He also thinks that as Shalu and Ayush are present, Lakshmi isn't scolding him yet.

Meanwhile, Balwinder gets to know where Lakshmi is from Malishka who in turn asks Kiran to fix a date with Karishma and print their marriage card.

Malishka is sure once the cards are distributed, due to his reputation, Rishi will marry Malishka.

At the hospital, Ayush, Shalu, and Bani hug Lakshmi when they enter the wardroom.

Lakshmi expresses her desire to return home but Rishi is worried because she just had her operation a day ago.

However, after requesting him a few times, Shalu asks Lakshmi to have her breakfast which Shalu and Bani made for her.

When Lakshmi asks if Rishi had anything, he tells her that he has already eaten.
