Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 21st August 2023 episode starts with Rishi driving his car when suddenly an auto comes in front of him and Rishi instantly turns his car in another direction.

Rishi crashes into the wall, getting hurt in his chest due to the sudden collapse while Lakshmi wonders if the person might be hurt and decides to look out for him.

Lakshmi realizes that it’s Rishi’s car and knocks on the door when Rishi immediately gets out of the car, surprised to see Lakshmi there.

However, Lakshmi scolds him for driving since he has not recovered yet while Rishi complains about her sudden departure from the house and expresses how hurt he is.

Rishi doubts Lakshmi’s driving when she says that she’ll drop him and at the same time, Lakshmi wonders about whether to take Rishi to the Oberoi mansion or to Rano’s house.

On the other hand, Malishka panics and is yelling in her room cursing Rishi for following Lakshmi everywhere she goes as he is unable to tolerate her departure.

Malishka is about to break a giant glass in her room when Kiran appears there and stops her from doing the same, asking her to calm down but Malishka expresses how much Rishi is bothering her.

Elsewhere, Ayush is having a telephonic conversation with Shalu when he tells her about Rishi leaving the house to bring Lakshmi back to their house which makes Shalu and Bani jump in excitement.

Back at the Oberoi house, Malishka has almost gone mad as she’s yelling at Kiran for all the love she showered on Rishi while Rishi neglects her efforts and runs behind Lakshmi.

Kiran asks her to stop overthinking since Lakshmi will not come back there which makes Malishka furious.

At the same time, Shalu is saying that they have to do something about Rishi and Lakshmi as soon as possible otherwise Malishka will try to get along with him.

Ayush asks them to do ‘Urdaas’ (prayer) when Shalu and Bani mock him while correcting him that it’s not Urdaas but Ardaas.

On the other hand, Karishma is cruising about Lakshmi to Neelam while Neelam remains silent as she’s already pissed off by Rishi who has gone to find Lakshmi.

Karishma calls Rishi an idiot for always following Lakshmi and for not letting her go from his life while mentioning that this is what Lakshmi wants Rishi to do as it’s part of her plan.

Just then, Neelam breaks her silence and assures Karishma that Lakshmi will not enter the house this time anyhow and if Rishi insists then, Neelam will be the one who’ll leave this house.

Afterwards, Neelam consoles Malishka and tells her that she will make Rishi marry her and she mentions to forget about Lakshmi entering the home this time as she won’t let this happen.

Meanwhile, Harleen is grieving about Lakshmi's departure when Virendra joins her and they both share their pain with each other when Harleen informs him about Rishi as he has left to search for Lakshmi.

Lakshmi is driving the car wondering about Rishi sleeping because of the painkillers she gave him and thinks that Rishi didn’t even ask her once where she is taking him to.

While Rishi keeps calling Lakshmi’s name in his sleep and even confesses his love to her, Lakshmi gets the answer where she should take him.

Just then, Karishma calls Rishi and he wakes up when Lakshmi tells him about his phone ringing but as he’s about to pick up the call, it hangs up.

Rishi keeps questioning Lakshmi about where she is taking him while Lakshmi remains silent.
