Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 21st September 2023 episode starts with Shalu and Bani smirking at each other as they successfully instigate Rishi.

Dadi says that Rishi should do according to what they want him to do since it will reunite him with Lakshmi.

Ayush assures that Rishi will confess his feelings since he will see Lakshmi going away from him which makes the others hopeful.

Suddenly, Rishi sees his subconsciousness in front of his eyes who asks him to make Lakshmi his own as he loves her very much.

Rishi remains silent while getting poked by his subconsciousness and decides confess his feelings for Lakshmi.

Everyone gets confused to see Rishi stand up as the engagement is about to start and paces up to Lakshmi thus stopping her from leaving by pulling her hand.

Neelam tries to stop Rishi but Virendra stops her saying that she has no right to stop them as they are adults and know what they are doing.

Rishi stares into Lakshmi's eyes and tells her that he loves her which leaves everyone shocked including Neelam and Malishka.

Lakshmi remains silent but Rishi tells her that he will not keep his promise to keep his feelings a secret anymore as he cannot bear to live without her and wants to marry her.

Neelam interrupts Rishi by asking him what he is even saying about but Rishi says that he is aware of what he is saying.

However, Lakshmi says that she does not love Rishi and jerks his hand away from her after which Lakshmi tells Rishi that it is just his worry for her that feels like love and nothing else.

Rishi says that it is not just worry stating he knows how he feels but Lakshmi does not seem convinced and instead says that Rishi and Malishka are perfect for each other.

Dadi says that Rishi's words signify that he has confessed earlier too and has been rejected by Lakshmi which means that they need to fix Lakshmi's mind and not Rishi's.

Malishka says that she always suspected of this happening and calls Rishi shameless for cheating on her while her parents plan to take revenge on the Oberoi's.

However, Rishi gets angry as Lakshmi pushes him away and says that he does not love her after which he announces that he will marry Malishka in front of her that day.

Rishi comes to the stage and asks Malishka to join him who comes despite knowing that she is the second choice as she loves Rishi.

Ayush and Shalu try to explain to Rishi but he asks them to leave him alone or else he might burst in anger at them.

Neelam decides to hurry the marriage and asks Malishka and Rishi to put mehendi on each other as shagun and Rishi writes his name on Malishka's hand after which she also does the same.

Lakshmi stands there staring at Rishi with tears in her eyes but Rishi does not even give a glance at her as he goes upstairs to get ready for the marriage.

Malishka comes to her room and says that she wished to kill Lakshmi earlier when she saw Rishi proposing to her in front of everyone.
