Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd March 2023 episode starts with Rishi asking Lakshmi to come out of the room for a moment.

At first she doesn't agree but then she excuses herself from the matchmaker and asks her to have snacks while she returns in a moment.

Rishi takes Lakshmi to a different room and keeps watching her for a moment.

When Lakshmi asks why he is watching her, he makes her remember the time when Lakshmi gifted him a rose made with tissue paper.

He smells it and says that Ayush once told him that he will smell love once he falls in love.

Rishi confesses that he loves Lakshmi and not Malishka and can find the smell from the tissue flower.

Lakshmi asks Rishi to think about what he confessed to and he explains the scene at the hospital.

He says that he has already confessed his love for Lakshmi but she faced short-term memory loss and so has forgotten.

Tears roll down her eyes as she faces mixed feelings and runs out of the room.

Rishi is stunned and thinks about whether Lakshmi will accept his confession.

Meanwhile, Harleen joins Karishma, Malishka and others while the priest tries to find a date.

Harleen says that if it is good for Rishi and Malishka then their marriage should happen soon.

However, the priest says that there is no marriage date for Malishka and Rishi until 6 months.

Soon Ayush comes and blinks at the priest while the truth is shown in a flashback.

While Ayush is going out, he saw the priest going inside the house.

After listening to the reason, he requests the priest to give a date that is after 6 months.

He says that it is for Rishi's goodwill and also offers some cash to the priest.

At present, Malishka gets anxious as Kiran and Karishma decide that they should call the head of the priest and ask him to find a date within a month.

However, the priest stopped her to call the head and says that he will check for the date again.

Ayush thinks of escaping from the place and prays to God for looking after the rest.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi enters her room with tears in her eyes.

She thinks of previous moments when Rishi stood up for her and fought against his family to support Lakshmi.

She is happy because just like her, Rishi loves her too but suddenly she hears a voice saying to her that this is all wrong.

At the same time, Rishi thinks that Lakshmi is not upset with him and knows that Lakshmi too loves him and will accept his confession soon.

However, he thinks that Lakshmi will take time and meanwhile he should let everyone know that he loves her.

He wants to inform others to cancel his and Malishka's wedding and to find a date for Lakshmi and his wedding.

In Lakshmi's room, she understands that she can hear her inner self which asks her not to be happy with Rishi's confession.

She says that Lakshmi should remember why she divorced Rishi in the first place.

Lakshmi remembers it and also thinks that it has always been Malishka's dream to marry Rishi.

She asks Lakshmi to not forget that she is a good-hearted person and so should do justice to Malishka.

Lakshmi understands what she needs to do instead of being happy and accepting Rishi's confession.
