Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd May 2023 episode starts with Dadi telling Malishka that she is unnecessarily suspecting Rishi and Lakshmi.

It is because if he really wanted to go then he would have gone with them instead of taking her with him. 

Neelam also suggests Malishka go to another jeweller than where Lakshmi and Vikrant have gone while Malishka tells them that she does not know where they are going. 

Just then, Karishma calls Vikrant and asks him subtly where they are headed. 

Once she finds out where Vikrant is taking Lakshmi, then she tells them to go to their family jeweller. 

Meanwhile, Shalu calls Lakshmi to find out where she is going for the jeweller. 

On being asked, Shalu tells Lakshmi that she needed her urgent sign on Bani’s paper. 

Meanwhile, Vikrant suggests inviting Shalu to the jewellery shop where she can get the sign for them.  

Afterward, Shalu calls Rishi and tells him about Lakshmi’s jeweller's location. 

On the other hand, Karishma tells Malishka to keep Rishi involved with her at least until after Lakshmi and Vikrant’s wedding. 

After a while, Malishka gets scared when she opens Rishi's car door and finds Aayush jumping on her. 

Both Malishka and Aayush begin to bicker with each other while Rishi tells Aayush to go sit in the back if he wants to go with them. 

Malishka takes offense and accuses Rishi of going after Lakshmi and planning against her. 

However, Rishi tells her that if she is suspicious then he is not going anywhere. 

Malishka thinks for a while and stops him, telling him to proceed. 

Meanwhile, Neelam tells Karishma that she thinks that Rishi knows the truth and that is why he is going after Lakshmi. 

However, Karishma tells her that if that would have been the case, then he would have to fight her or question her. 

In the meantime, Rishi asks Malishka which jewellery shop they should go to so that Malishka doesn't get suspicious. 

Malishka chooses the same shop as Lakshmi going which makes Rishi relieved. 

On the other hand, Vikrant expresses his relief at his mother's call about the jeweller being closed today. 

After a while, Rishi’s car break down in the middle of the road while Vikrant and Lakshmi find them waiting and offer to give them a lift. 

Malishka tries to talk themselves out of it but Vikrant insists and Rishi also sides with Malishka which makes her happy and she agrees.

On the way, Vikrant focus diverts for a second on touching Lakshmi’s hand and he almost collides with another vehicle which worries Rishi. 

Rishi makes Vikrant stop the car, showing the buffalo, and tells him to let him drive because he would have killed it. 

Later, Malishka and Lakshmi ask Rishi where the buffalo really is while Rishi and Aayush describe the fake buffalo. 

Later, they arrive at the jewellery shop where Lakshmi helps an old woman cross the street. 

Lakshmi finds out that her granddaughter is sick and needs money for treatment and gives her gold bangles to her. 

Malishka does not approve of Lakshmi’s generousness and tells her that she has been conned. 

She also tells Vikrant to keep a grip on Lakshmi or else she will turn him into a pauper. 

However, Vikrant is impressed with Lakshmi’s kindness and tells Malishka that Lakshmi did the right thing.
